A Difficult Decision!
When you experience unplanned pregnancy as often as the Teen Mom cast does, it’s not surprising that sometimes alternative options are on the table. Deciding between adoption, abortion, and keeping an unplanned baby is an extremely difficult decision, so it’s no big secret that the cast has had a hard time considering all of their options. And this member just admitted that she came very close to having an abortion.

Excited for Stella

Now that Stella Star is finally in the world, we can look back and appreciate her announcement even more. Briana was generous with pregnancy shots, sonograms, and more, and even shared with the fans in advance what gender her baby would be at her baby shower. Baby Stella is an adorable addition to the cast, so it’s shocking to know that she may never have been brought into the world.
A Hard Decision

In a recent episode of Teen Mom, Briana opened up that there was a point in her life that she wasn’t sure if keeping Stella was the best idea.
In this episode, while she watches over Nova Star playing on her bike, she brings back old memories of when she first found out she was pregnant.
“This pregnancy was the last thing that I expected to happen, she says, rubbing her belly.
She goes on, “When I first found out, I was more of like, well, we don’t really know each other; maybe it’s best if we do get an abortion.”
A Helping Hand

She explains to Luis, her baby daddy, that his support is what made her decide to keep the pregnancy.
“But you’re very supportive, and you said you know our situation is not the best, but we’ll figure it out.”
Luis’s support and Briana’s decision is why we have adorable Stella Star today, so it’s hard to argue with that logic.
