Unfortunately, the Teen Mom fanbase is no strangers to seeing the stars of the show cuffed and being pushed into a police car. Arrests seem to be just as common as pregnancies among the cast members, and very few of them have managed to get by without having a criminal record.
But when so many of the Teen Mom criminal records come from unpaid speeding tickets and failures to appear in court, the ones about serious crimes like larceny stop fans in their tracks.

Even though 2020 has offered us a fresh slate, the Teen Mom cast members had quite a year when it comes to their legal troubles in 2019.
One of the biggest arrests was that of Amber Portwood, who was busted for domestic violence against her baby daddy Andrew Glennon while he was holding her son!
The night began with Amber and Andrew trying to go see fireworks with their son James, who is currently the subject of their ongoing custody battle, only to find out that the roads were blocked off.

“Mr. Glennon stated Ms. Portwood made him feel like he ‘dropped the ball’ on plans to see fireworks because the roads were blocked….Mr. Glennon stated Ms. Portwood then bashed his character,” the affidavit from the incident states, as reported by The Ashley’s Reality Roundup.
Andrew then drove around with James so Amber could “cool off,” and when he returned, Amber had reportedly locked the door.

“Mr. Glennon stated when he got inside the home, Ms. Portwood grabbed a shoe off the shoe rack and hit him with it. Mr. Glennon stated he was holding [the baby] and he turned to the side to avoid [the baby] getting hit with the shoe,” the affidavit reveals. “Mr. Glennon stated he then left [the house] again with [the baby].”
When Andrew got back to the house, Amber came toward him “like she was going to hit him,” according to the affidavit. It goes on, “Mr. Glennon became visibly upset and stated Ms. Portwood then threatened to kill herself,” the affidavit states. “Mr. Glennon stated Ms. Portwood went to her drawer and took a handful of Klonopin and tossed it back like it was nothing.” It then reveals Amber regurgitated the pills.
“Mr. Glennon stated Ms. Portwood picked up a machete towards him and [the baby],” the report states. “Mr. Glennon stated he locked himself and [the baby] into the office. Mr. Glennon stated she hit the door with the machete and kicked the door and broke the handle. Mr. Glennon stated that is when he called for help.”
