When MTV first started filming 16 and Pregnant and Teen Mom, they wanted to have a show that captured the realities of what it was like to struggle with a pregnancy at a young age. Over the years, MTV has stayed faithful to its mission to portray what really happens in the cast member’s lives, whether it’s good or bad. Unfortunately, as the years have gone on, this means that many of the cast members’ storylines have began to involve drugs, addiction, and even jail time.
Fans have been suspicious about this cast member’s behavior in recent episodes of the show, but no one expected the law to come down so hard on him. Now he’s been busted for cocaine possession, weapons, and larceny.
Struggling with Addiction
Tyler Baltierra and Catelynn Lowell have both seen and experienced a great deal of addiction in their lives. They both struggled with having addicted parents, and have even been hooked on cigarettes and illegal substances themselves. Now, Tyler is doing everything he can to get his father, Butch, clean. But it’s clear that Butch isn’t the only one who is struggling with addiction.
Tyler’s sister Amber recently introduced her boyfriend, Billy Wade Elkins Jr., on Teen Mom OG. Fans have been suspicious that Amber herself may be addicted to drugs, but now there’s proof that her bae is!
In a recent episode of Teen Mom OG, Billy revealed that he was released from jail only 10 days before filming for the show! “I’m on a leash… I just need to make sure it’s charged,” Billy revealed, referring to his ankle monitor. Amber added, “Billy has to wear it for six months until he has to go back to court.”
Now, reports from Radar Online are revealing exactly what Billy did time for.
“[Billy] did deliver less than 50 grams of a mixture containing the controlled substance cocaine,” Radar reports from court papers obtained from Third Judicial Circuit Court of Wayne County in Michigan.
On top of this, he was charged with “second count of delivery/manufacture of cocaine,” and later with “delivery/manufacture of cocaine, possession of firearm by a felon and weapons felony firearm stemming from a March 16, 2017 offense,” according to Radar.
Billy pled guilty to two offenses, and two were dismissed as part of plea deals. He was sentenced to “two years probation and six months with a GPS tracker for the March 14 and March 16 cases, which are to be served concurrently,” Radar reports. But that’s not the end of Billy’s criminal history.
“[Billy] did break and enter A Church’s Chicken with the intent to commit the crime of larceny,” read court papers from July of 2014 as reported by Radar. “Did commit the crime of larceny in A Church’s Chicken by stealing safe and its contents.”
Everyone has a past, but Billy’s is particularly alarming considering his intentions with Tyler’s sister! In a recent episode, they spilled that they are planning to get married and have children.
