Javi began dating Lauren Comeau after they met at a wedding. The couple began as a long distance relationship with Javi in Delaware and Lauren in Charleston, South Carolina. “We met at one of our best friend’s weddings,” Javi told Radar Online. “She was the maid of honor.”
He revealed that their relationship was “fairly new” but that he “[didn’t] feel that way.” Javi elaborated, “This one feels right. We decided we’d give it a try officially at the wedding this past weekend.” To be clear, Lauren was the fourth girl he dated in the year after he split from Kailyn.
Unfortunately, their relationship didn’t last very long. The stress of having a public relationship was too much for Lauren, and the couple split in September of 2017.

“I love Lauren, but unfortunately it didn’t work out,” Javi informed Radar after the break-up. “I’m learning not everyone wants the attention. Dating someone on a TV show is tough. I think Lauren had a hard time adjusting to that and I had a hard time understanding that.”
“It was a lot for her and we couldn’t fix it,” he explained. “I learned for my next relationship that I have to put myself in the other person’s shoes.”
But he made it clear that he wasn’t totally over Lauren. “I never believed in love at first sight, but when I saw Lauren I definitely did,” he said. “I’m hoping Lauren and I can figure this out because she made me the happiest I’ve ever been.”
