Although Ryan is a controversial enough figure on his own, he took the controversy to a new level when he started dating Mackenzie Standifer. While at first fans and Maci alike approved of Mackenzie and thought that their relationship would set Ryan on the straight and narrow, it’s pretty clear that’s not how things went. After the infamous letter-reading during a Teen Mom OG reunion (the one where Mackenzie essentially accused Maci of exploiting Ryan’s addiction just to make that sweet Teen Mom money), it was clear that Mackenzie had fallen into the role of evil step-mom.
Of course, that’s not where the scandals ended. Since then, Ryan has been busted cheating on Mackenzie numerous times, but she’s stayed by his side regardless. More recently, Mackenzie revealed that she was pregnant with Ryan’s child, who is due in just a few months. In the meantime, Ryan was pretty busy too, and only a few days ago he was arrested once again for possession of heroin.
