Some Teen Mom relationships are clearly meant to last. Fans have enjoyed watching some of the true love stories play out on the show, and many of the cast members have found “the one” while they were filming. But more often than not, it doesn’t exactly have a fairytale ending.
On the newest addition to the franchise, Teen Mom: Young and Pregnant, MTV introduced a number of couples that had rocky beginnings. From Kayla with her unreliable boyfriend Stephan to Brianna with her angry ex-boyfriend Danae, some relationships were clearly doomed from the very beginning. But many fans thought that Ashley Jones and her baby daddy Bar Smith were in it for the long haul.
And for a while, it seemed that they were going to last!
Like any reality star, Ashley and Bar decided to announce their upcoming nuptials via Instagram. Sharing a picture of them decked out from head to toe in denim, they revealed that their wedding date will be September 29, 2019. Needless to say, fans have many opinions about their announcement.
