'Surprise!' Leah Messer Shares Shocking Update With Jeremy

Leah Messer and Jeremy Calvert have had a very complicated relationship over the years.

The couple has been married, divorced, together, and not, and some days we don’t know if they even like one another.

They share a daughter together, Leah’s youngest, which means they have to remain on civil terms. We haven’t heard much about their relationship in a while, which is why this latest announcement caught us by surprise!

Leah revealed that Jeremy had a very emotional surprise for her and her daughter…

Leah Messer hasn’t had the best luck when it comes to her baby daddies, but at least they’re trying, right? On a recent episode of Teen Mom 2, she opened up about trying to talk to Corey Simms, her first baby daddy, about her struggles.

“I look back at that moment and I wish each of us, all of us including your wife, could have communicated it a little different,” she shared.

“We was very supportive but that turned to anger,” Corey explained.

But after the episode aired, Leah shared that it took a great deal of effort for her to heal.

“Apologies are great in healing and I feel the apology should be mutual,” Leah shared on Instagram at the time.

“Try being the person going through it and losing everything if you owned your struggle with addiction,” she added. “Had the safe place been created for me to openly discussed with Corey and get the I needed I don’t think our communication would have been so ineffective and constantly in courts.”

During the episode, Corey seemed to share this sentiment, saying: “We could’ve communicated better.”

As for her second baby daddy, Jeremy Calvert, Leah has been a little kinder to him lately. She recently shared a heartfelt update about him and her family.

On Addie’s Instagram page, she shared a photo of her daughter and Jeremy hugging.

“Daddy surprised me and came home for my bday!” the caption read. “I missed him so much. I’m a big time Daddy’s girl.”

In the photos, you can tell Addie is crying while hugging her dad.

In an Instagram story, Leah shared the same photo with the caption “The pipelines might have her Daddy, but she’ll always have his heart. #GirlDad.”
