Even though Ryan Edwards has his hands full with his son and stepson with Mackenzie Edwards, he hasn’t spent much time with his first son Bentley Edwards.
Now, it looks like all of that just might be changing soon.
After having a strained relationship for years, are the two finally going to reunite?

In the last episode of Teen Mom OG, Maci shared that Bentley wanted to go to counseling. Of course, Maci was more than supportive – but Ryan didn’t even believe it.
“Maci had come to mom and said that Bentley wanted us to do counseling. If he says that’s how he feels, that’s fine,” Ryan said in a later clip, adding, “But is it all your momma’s bullsh*t? I don’t know which one it is.”
It’s clear that Ryan things Maci influenced Bentley to want counseling. “I’m tired of having made-up stories and lies and problems, I’m over that. I’m not gonna do it,” he shared.
And while Larry and Jen’s response was upsetting, it wasn’t exactly surprising.

“I think Ryan needs to be honest and talk to him to help Bentley understand what has been happening all these years,” Larry expressed. But ultimately, he took Ryan’s side.
“Ryan loves Bentley more than you can ever imagine,” he shared. For many, it was upsetting to see that Larry would side with Ryan even when Bentley was in clear need of help.
“This whole entire scene was disgusting. Ryan really did manipulate his parents into thinking he was right this whole time,” one fan wrote in the Teen Mom Tea Instagram comments.
“Wow I always loved Jen & Larry smh definitely look at them differently now,” another shared.
Fans were even more uncomfortable when Larry doubled down.
