Mackenzie Edwards' Baby is On The Way!

It looks like Maci Bookout’s son, Bentley, is going to have yet another sibling very soon!

And no, it’s not Maci herself who is giving him another brother or sister. Instead, this half-sibling will come from his father, Ryan Edwards and his wife Mackenzie!

Even though the two have been very quiet during this pregnancy, they’re now spilling all of the details about the exciting news!

Maci Bookout has had a pretty difficult storyline when it comes to her first baby daddy and ex boyfriend, Ryan Edwards. She’s had to watch with worry as he battled an addiction opiates, and things got even more complicated when his new girlfriend, Mackenzie Edwards, was introduced.

At first, Maci and Mackenzie got along great. After Maci met up with Mackenzie for the first time, she told her husband Taylor McKinney that she was happy Ryan had found her.

But their relationship didn’t stay good for very much longer.

Mackenzie and Maci stopped seeing eye to eye, specifically because Mackenzie refused to admit that Ryan was addicted. Soon, Mackenzie and Ryan found themselves booted from the show!

The couple confirmed this update to People.

“We’re not returning to Teen Mom this season,” Mackenzie spilled in the interview. However, she claimed that it was MTV’s decision.

“The network [MTV] told us they don’t want to show Ryan as a recovering addict,” Mackenzie said. She added that MTV “did want to enter a contract with our unborn baby and have the baby film with Ryan’s parents so it would look like someone else is raising it.”

Mackenzie went on, “They want to talk about us but they don’t want to pay us and film us.” Mackenzie claimed that Maci was in on the decision, threatening not to film unless Ryan and Mackenzie were off!

But luckily for those who love watching Ryan and Mack’s story, this disagreement between them and MTV wasn’t destined to last forever. In fact, to the surprise of many, they appeared in the most recent season of Teen Mom OG, and will also be in the next!

It probably doesn’t hurt that the couple have a huge change coming in their family: they’re expecting their second child together!

And now Mackenzie is confirming that her birth — which is coming very soon — will be filmed for the show!
