She said that her son’s father never reached out to Bentley, even though he has his own cell phone.
Speaking to Ryan’s parents, Maci said the whole situation has her “tired as f**k.”
That’s not surprising, this drama feels endless! Ryan’s wife, Mackenzie, hasn’t been having the easiest of times either.
Apparently, Mackenzie had been working for her father’s insurance company, and the couple has been living with Ryan’s parents rent free. They announced they would be leaving the series last year because they didn’t want to focus their storyline on Ryan’s addiction recovery.
Last October, Mackenzie gave birth to their son
Jagger Ryan Edwards. Ryan was not present for the birth of his first child with Mackenzie because he was back in rehab.
Because of Ryan’s repeated offenses with drugs, it was not a shock when Radar Online reported that the 30-year-old had re-entered treatment. According to Radar, Ryan was supposed to stay at the rehab facility until early 2019.
The family wasn’t very confident Ryan would remain sober.
“If he relapses again, she’s going to file for divorce,” a source revealed to Radar Online in late November. The informant emphasized, “She’s serious. She doesn’t want to continue to be with someone who doesn’t help himself.”
“Being incarcerated, his family hopes he learned his lesson and stays clean,” a source revealed to Radar. “Would they bet on it? Not on a dime. Drugs are very powerful. When your body needs them, you do things you normally wouldn’t do.”
Ryan’s mother Jen and father Larry apparently are hoping that he seeks treatment again. “Jen would like for Ryan to find a counselor, someone he can talk to,” the source said. “Larry has a lot of plans they would like to happen, but they don’t happen.”
