Even though the Teen Mom cast members get some serious perks from their time on the show, it’s no secret that there are some serious downsides, too.
Pros? Well, they’re known across the country, they have the support and encouragement of thousands of fans, they have a huge platform to promote any products they’ve recently launched, and, oh yeah, they make six figures.
Cons? They’re constantly being broken down by viewers who disagree with what they do, no matter how personal it is.
Could the cons be outweighing the pros for some of the cast?

Even though MTV has added numerous fresh new faces to the Teen Mom cast, it’s some of the original cast members who seem to have the biggest problems with the network (even though they’re paid the most by far).
Kailyn Lowry has been on the show since Teen Mom 2’s inception, even though the cast has been changing rapidly lately. And over the years, she hasn’t been afraid of expressing her distaste with the network.
It turns out that Kailyn is particularly frustrated with what went down during the Teen Mom 2 reunion filming.
“B*tches wanna be hard at the reunion,” Ashley wrote in an Instagram story. “I will beat you f*ck up. Period. You know my hotel number.”
She went on, “And I don’t do blems so just no [Kayla Sessler] and jade. The next time y’all wanna take y’all shoes off be about it b*tch. Cause you can’t whoop me, and I’ll wait.”
Apparently, Ashley even wanted to meet up with Jade in New York so they could throw hands! She posted an image of the M&M’s store in Time Square, writing “B*tch I said meet me at m&ms ??? Wya ??”
Soon, rumors began to stir that something serious went down between the three girls at the reunion. In fact, a production insider spilled to Champion Daily that things got physical, sharing,
“A massive fight broke out at the Teen Mom 2 reunion. MTV invited a bunch of people in addition to the Teen Mom 2 cast this time around, including the cast of Teen Mom Young and Pregnant and Catelynn and Tyler from Teen Mom OG. While Catelynn Lowell and Tyler Baltierra already revealed why they were appearing- to talk with Chelsea Houska and Cole DeBoer about Chelsea’s anxiety- the cast of Young and Pregnant was there to be featured on the stage with the Teen Mom 2 cast.”
Now, Kailyn’s sharing her take on everything that went down.
“They have me with Jade onstage with the entire Young and Pregnant cast,” Kailyn revealed on the most recent episode of her podcast, Coffee Convos. “And I’m like okay, why are we here? I don’t get it. There’s 7 of us on here. I have to physically like move my entire body to look down the entire couch at Nessa and Drew.”
“I even joked with the audience like am I here to mediate some sh*t? What am I here for,” she added.
She went on, “I knew that Jade and Ashley had beef… So they’re having me onstage and their explanation for me being there was so that I could — because I introduced Jade to the Teen Mom 2 cast and then Jade came from the Young and Pregnant cast — that’s why Jade and I were onstage.”
“This is where we get into it,” Kailyn explained. “Before the Young and Pregnant cast gets onstage, it’s just me and Jade. We move to the next couch so that there’s room for the other girls and there’s a circle of producers on set. And they’re in a circle talking.”
“And I go up to them and I’m like hey and I raise my hand and I’m like ‘This isn’t a good idea,'” she said. “I said ‘I understand that there’s a ton of security and I understand you guys think you have it handled but this is not a good idea.'”
She went on,
“I said when Briana and I got into our shit Briana swore she was good to get onstage. Bri and Brittany were perfectly fine to get onstage and everyone thought it was fine and then when she came out acting crazy I literally didn’t know what was happening and then that happened.”
