Kailyn Lowry has gone through a lot of changes during her tenure on Teen Mom 2 as well. In addition to having several relationships and three baby daddies, her appearance has also changed a great deal. In fact, in her memoir Hustle and Heart, Kailyn attributes some of her past weight fluctuations to her struggles with an eating disorder.
“For a long time I had very low self esteem,” Kailyn revealed. “For a variety of reasons, I struggled to believe in the possibility that I might actually be worth the love of others… I was constantly nitpicking everything about myself.”
“For years I struggled with eating disorders, and I was extremely self-conscious about my weight,” she revealed. “As anyone who’s been in this situation knows, this is rarely something you ever completely get over. It’s nice to think that the ultimate goal would be to feel totally at peace with my body, whatever it looks like.. But in reality, that’s something that has to be maintained continuously.”
