Baby Lo No More!
Kailyn Lowry’s recent pregnancy was truly one for the books. From the very beginning, it was the source of endless gossip, considering it was months before she even told us her baby daddy’s name. But even after she revealed Chris Lopez was the father, the scandals didn’t end.
Amidst all of the controversy, rumors, and passive aggressive tweets, Kailyn gave birth to a healthy baby boy, and somehow all of the drama was put on the backburner. Fans are still wondering one important thing: What’s the new baby’s name? Kailyn sure has taken her time talking about it, but she’s finally given us an update.
After what felt like months of baby bump updates, maternity shoots, and Kailyn announcing “dates” with Baby Lo, fans were thrilled when Kailyn finally gave birth at 3am on August 5th, 2017. Baby Lo was 7 pounds and 15 oz. After the birth, Kailyn tweeted, “Mother of all boys.”
There’s no doubting that this new birth will absolutely change Kailyn’s life, and that’s not even taking into account how it will affect her relationship with Javi, Jo, and her most recent baby daddy, Chris Lopez. But for now, we just want to fawn over this new baby boy.
The Name Game
Kailyn is nothing if not communicative with her fans. Before Baby Lo was born, she decided to give insight into her naming process. She tweeted some names she was thinking. She wrote that for a girl, she was thinking “Karsyn, Anastasia, Murphy and Leona,” while her boy names were “Griffin, Nixon, Ripken and Silas.”
A little later, she wanted to see what fans thought about the names. She tweeted a poll that said, “I like last names for first names, how do we feel about Murphy for baby lo?” Unfortunately, fans weren’t super into it; only 22% voted yes.
Fans were anxious to know what Kailyn ultimately decided on for a name, and one took it into their own hands to ask her for an update. The fan tagged her on Twitter, writing, “still waiting on that baby name …” Kailyn retweeted it and replied, “Still trying to pick one… I think I’m overthinking it.”
Fans chimed in with suggestions and support; even Chelsea had some helpful words. She wrote, “I’m making a list for you,” with some laughing emojis.
Luckily, fans shouldn’t have to wait too much longer. Kailyn wrote, “Thank you… I would like to name him this week,” with a laughing emoji and a skull emoji.
