Kailyn Lowry Quitting 'Teen Mom 2'?!

Hearing that a Teen Mom star is contemplating quitting the show is nothing new to fans of the show. In fact, since the show has been on the air for over a decade now, fans have begun to wonder how much longer it will last!

But there are some cast members that we’re pretty sure will go down with Teen Mom whenever it gets canceled, and Kailyn Lowry is one of them. After all, now that Jenelle is gone, she’s probably the most infamous member of the cast!

But now, it looks like Kailyn’s time on the show might be up. Here’s why she would quit!

When it comes to staying out of Teen Mom drama, there seems to be a simple solution: just don’t get involved in anyone else’s lives!

But for Kailyn Lowry during the Teen Mom 2 reunion, this really wasn’t an option.

During the reunion, MTV decided to have the Young and Pregnant cast members take the stage, and it wasn’t long before their segment devolved into drama and even violence! (Don’t worry — we’re going to get into that)!

And for some reason, Kailyn Lowry was the only Teen Mom 2 cast member on the stage. So even if she wanted to, it was impossible for her to avoid the drama!

Here’s how it all went down.

As it turns out, Jade Cline and Ashley Jones are harboring a lot of tension toward one another!

“There were rumors that it was between Ashley or Jade to come to Teen Mom 2, and then it evolved and escalated,” Kailyn explained after the tension became clear. Then Jade started yelling!

“Let’s just cut the bullsh*t!” Ashley said. “You accused me of lying about Teen Mom 2!” She accused Jade of coming into her DMs, and Jade revealed that Ashley called her mother was “a crack headed b*tch.”

By this point, half of the cast members were on their feet and Dr. Drew was attempting to intervene.

“I’m a grown a** woman,” Jade yelled, to which Ashley replied, “So be about it!”

Kailyn, who has been around the block a few times, can be heard telling Jade, “Walk off, just walk off.” Eventually, Jade does exit.

“You b*tches act like it’s me that’s the problem. I’m not the motherf*cking problem!”

In the middle of Ashley confronting each of the Young and Pregnant cast members one by one, Kailyn tried to mitigate. She told Kayla to switch spots with her so that she’d be farther down on the couch and further from Ashley.

But Nessa interjected. After all, Nessa’s job is to keep ratings high by stirring up drama. So it’s no wonder she didn’t want Kailyn to de-escalate!

In the scene, Nessa can be heard saying “Kail,” in a scolding voice. It’s clear that she tells Kailyn not to move where she is on the couch, and Kailyn was not happy with this.

Kailyn stands up in the middle of the fight and walks off the stage! “Bye!” she says while she leaves. “Bye, Nessa!”
