According to The North Carolina State Highway Patrol via ET, no charges were filed against Jenelle or the tailgater after the an investigation into the incident. They added that even after the footage aired on Monday, there are “no plans to reopen the investigation.”
“Jenelle has not commented on the scene, but she’s still on the show — and we will see her in future episodes,” reveals a source close to Teen Mom 2 production, according to ET. The added that this includes “the season finale, next Monday, and a reunion [show] at the end of August.”
According to TMZ, Jenelle got off easy because Jace was in the car. Robert Robinson Jr., the man who brake-checked Jenelle, told TMZ that “once he saw jenelle pll down his dirt road… he alerted all his neighbors someone was coming.” TMZ notes that all of his neighbors, like him, are armed.

Robinson told TMZ that “he only pulls [his gun] out to protect himself… and shoots to kill.” The outlet adds, “He exercised restraint once he saw she had a kid in the SUV.”
Jenelle may have gotten off easy when it comes to the law, but now it seems she’ll be facing repercussions when it comes to the custody of her son. During the finale of Teen Mom 2, Barbara told Jenelle exactly how she felt about her behavior.
“Did you pull a gun on him? That’s what [Jace is[ telling me,” Babs asked Jenelle, who replied, “No I didn’t Jace! Why are you saying I pulled a gun out on him? I did not do that.”
Barbara told Jenelle not to follow “crazy people,” but Jenelle shot back, “I’m protected all the time. The point is you don’t tailgate people.”
Shockingly, it was Jenelle’s ex and baby daddy Nathan Griffith who Barbara confided in in a later scene.
