Jenelle Evans Blames Teen Mom For PTSD

Let’s face it, spending your formative years on reality tv cannot be easy. Most of the girls on Teen Mom shared their high school pregnancy journies on national television, something that is incredibly difficult to go through without it being observed by millions of people.

But when push comes to shove, after a while MTV and the Teen Mom shows became the cast’s career, and they made a fair amount of money from sharing their lives with fans.

Now, Jenelle Evans, who was kicked off Teen Mom 2 a while back, is opening up about just how traumatic the entire experience was for her.

There’s been a lot going on in Jenelle’s life lately, and she’s been extremely candid with fans about what is happening with her and her family.

In a recent video for her YouTube series “Addicted to Growth,” Jenelle revealed that her middle son, Kaiser, was kicked out of two schools!

In the video, Jenelle explains how hard it was parenting her kids while she was separated from David back in late 2019.

“Kaiser had a really hard time at school in North Carolina. He was in his first school and got kicked out,” she revealed. “In the second school, he basically got kicked out, wouldn’t behave. And when we got to Tennessee, he started school again.”

Kaiser’s school bus picked him up right outside of their apartment complex, so it was easier for them to get everyone ready in the morning. But that didn’t mean Kaiser’s behavior was any better…

“Luckily, he got picked up by the bus and brought to school, I just had to bring him to the apartment complex but he was bad in the bus and when he got to school, he was bad in school and things weren’t going that great and they would call me every other day to come pick him up,” Jenelle said.

But because her son was acting out so much, she ended up having to reach out to Kaiser’s dad, Nathan Griffith, for help.

“Not to throw Nathan under the bus but I contacted Nathan like four or five times, asking if he could help me control Kaiser and control his anger and Nathan was like ‘I’m in Florida, I don’t know what to do,’” the former Teen Mom star revealed.

She said Nathan never reached out to her son’s teachers, which made her ability to co-parent with him incredibly difficult.

It would be easy to hope that Kaiser has calmed down, but with the custody battle that is happening in the background, it is unlikely things have gotten any easier.

Fans watched on Teen Mom as Jenelle and Nathan’s relationship grew and crumbled, so they’re pretty aware of what kind of guy he is. But now, Jenelle posted a TikTok about struggling with PTSD and what Teen Mom 2 has to do with it.

In the TikTok, Jenelle was drinking her coffee outside. She captioned the video “#GoodMorning Daily dose of #MentalHealthAwareness.”

“I’m enjoying my morning cup of coffee, and I woke up pretty stressed out,” she said in the video. “The past two days I’ve been having a really hard time with my dreams…”I had two dreams, specifically, back to back. And it just brought back bad memories where I was at.”

Apparently, the bad dreams had to do with Teen Mom 2 reunions.

“Specifically, at the reunion shows, that I used to have to attend, and everyone was like fighting in my dreams,” Jenelle continued. “At it brought back the feelings of anxiety. And it’s happened two nights in a row. Don’t know why. Haven’t been watching the show. But yeah mental health awareness.”

But it was a follower that told Jenelle it could be PTSD…
