Jenelle has had a lot on her mind these past few weeks, so it’s no wonder she’d want to take a break from it all. She explained her hardship over Instagram in a lengthy outpouring about her decision to prioritize her children and herself first and end her marriage to her controversial ex, David Eason.
“I’ve mostly kept off social media the past few days because I’ve been focused on making some big life decisions,” she began.
“I’ve lived my life on camera since I was 17 years old. And a lot of it hasn’t been pretty. But its been my life,” she continued. “Like anyone else I want what’s best for my kids and I want to be happy. With time away from Teen Mom I’ve started to look at my life differently and I know I need to make changes.
“I’m starting that now,” she wrote.

She went on to pen:
“The kids and I have moved away from David. Nobody gets into a marriage expecting it to end but I nkow thats what is best for me, and for my kids. Today I’ve filed papers to start that process. I appreciate the support from everybody who has asked how I am. Me and hte kids are doing great. We need some time to be together. But you’ll hear from us again soon. – Jenelle”
It’s safe to say that Jenelle’s announcement has received a huge reaction in the Teen Mom fanbase. Soon after her announcement, she reportedly moved to Tennessee with her daughter Ensley, and even hit David with a restraining order!
Even though Jenelle and Nathan’s relationship was explosive toward the end, it started off as strong and passionate as any. In fact, at the time, many people believed that Nathan was going to be Jenelle’s last “soulmate.”
As we all know, things didn’t exactly go as planned in their relationship. And even though they attempted to patch things up by having a child together, we all know how that ended.
Jenelle and Nathan managed to work out a co-parenting relationship after their romantic relationship ended, but then they began feuding again not long after. This time, the source of the feud was Jenelle’s new husband, David Eason!
Nathan and his mother Doris both claimed that David was being violent and abusive toward their son Kaiser, and this drove a deep wedge between him and Jenelle.
But now that David’s out of the picture, their relationship seems to be in a much better place.
