When Mackenzie Standifer first graced the scene on Teen Mom, Maci Bookout liked her immediately. Maci thought that Mackenzie would be good for Ryan, keep him settled down, and that they would make a good match. Oh, how much times have changed!
Ever since Mackenzie publicly blasted Maci during last season of Teen Mom OG’s reunion special, blaming her for allegedly exploiting Ryan’s addiction for fame and money, Mackenzie hasn’t been a super popular member of the Teen Mom cast. Now it seems that she may not be a cast member very much longer.
With everything that’s gone down in Ryan’s life these past few weeks, from relapse to restraining orders, was it simply too much for Mackenzie to handle? Here’s why many believe that this couple is already heading for a divorce.

Ryan Edwards has had one doozy of a month.
After Teen Mom aired on March 26, it seemed that things were only getting better for Maci Bookout’s ex. He and his wife, Mackenzie Standifer , announced they are expecting a baby together! The Edwards family might not be the most popular right now, but fans were still excited about another Teen Mom baby, and it seemed like a step in the right direction for the family to get back on its feet.
Unfortunately, that’s where the good news ended. The day after the pregnancy was announced, it was revealed that Ryan Edwards was arrested after he relapsed back into his heroin addiction. To make matters worse, Maci Bookout filed a restraining order against him for his threats of violence, and he was caught cheating on Mackenzie Standifer using Tinder… again!
This all may be too much for one man to handle — can you imagine adding divorce to the mix?

Soon after the cheating rumors surfaced, it became clear that things were not great between Ryan and Mackenzie. According to reports by Radar Online, Ryan’s new wife split town almost immediately after!
“Mackenzie boarded a flight to go to New York yesterday without Ryan,” an inside source told the outlet. What’s more is that the trip seemed pretty impromptu! “She left her son [Hudson] during her scheduled time. Her scheduled times are Friday evening through Tuesday mornings.” Mackenzie also confirmed to Radar that she was in fact in New York.
At the time that Ryan’s relapse came out, Mackenzie insisted everything was alright. “Everything is fine,” she told Radar. “He took a drug test yesterday and passed,” she claimed, even though this information contradicted many outlets’ findings. But Mackenzie’s departure had a lot of fans wondering about the state of her relationship with Ryan.
