Jenelle took a 10-day trip to Los Angeles with David Eason, and fans are not happy. People are accusing Jenelle of taking a “vacation” away from her newborn child. As you can imagine, she is getting slammed for the decision. However, Jenelle has revealed that the trip was not a vacation, but was necessary for work.
Teen Mom was filming an after show in LA. Despite putting up a fight, the producers persuaded Jenelle to make the trip.
Jenelle Gets Sick

Ironically enough, Jenelle couldn’t even attend the filming on Monday, February 27th, because she caught the flu. Maybe it’s good that she was away from baby Ensley while she was sick.
When fans began to bash Jenelle, she decided to shed some light on the situation.
“I didn’t want to come on this trip to LA, but I had to because of work. I put up a big fight for a week and they told me it was a huge deal for me to go. The producer was even calling my phone asking me to go,” Jenelle said.

Jenelle said that she attempted to take Ensley with her to Los Angeles, but her doctor cautioned that the trip was not a good idea for the newborn baby.
