Are the rumors true?
Many members of the Teen Mom cast have had some pretty horrible experiences with drugs and addiction, and Amber Portwood is one of them. However, as they’ve grown, most of them have become clean and have put their pasts behind them.
Recovery isn’t always that simple, and sometimes it involves relapses. With that being said, someone is accusing Amber of lying about being clean.

Fighting Drug Addiction

Amber isn’t the only Teen Mom cast member to have a problem with drugs, but her story was pretty dark. She has since opened up on the Getting To Know MTV special about her drug use following her daughter Leah’s birth, after she was prescribed Klonopin to relieve anxiety.
It spiraled out of control to the point that she said she was high nearly all of the time, but she’s since cleaned up.
Not So Clean?

Amber Portwood reportedly has been clean for some time now, despite her ex Matt Baier’s drug use, but according to reality star Brandi Glanville, Amber isn’t being completely honest with the show and its fanbase.
Brandi recently tweeted, “I’m not feuding with ANYONE especially unstable overmedicated narcissistic people that pretend like they’re sober,” and then added that she “can’t fight with crazy.”

It’s unclear what Brandi is referring to, but Amber isn’t entirely secretive about being on certain medications. In season 6 of Teen Mom OG, it was revealed that she would likely have to be prescribed three different medications for the rest of her life as a reasult of her borderline personality disorder and bipolar disorder. Brandi seems to be insinuating that Amber has gone back to using something harder though.
