Insider Source Spills All About Maci Bookout Pregnancy Rumors

Teen Mom OG is finally back! This season premiered on March 17th, and fans have a lot of questions about where the season will go. Even though many have complained that the show is getting dull and repetitive in recent years, many are now curious what the future holds for the girls, the cast lineup, and the show itself.

Even though the cast has changed often over the years, Maci Bookout is one of three OG girls who’s truly original. Now, an insider is speaking out about something that might show up during her storyline: pregnancy rumors.

Maci Bookout has had a pretty complicated storyline in the past seasons of Teen Mom OG. Much like her Teen Mom 2 counterpart Chelsea Houska, she’s had to battle to co-parent with a baby daddy who is struggling with substance abuse.

Meanwhile, she’s also had to battle the family of that co-parent, Ryan Edwards! Last season’s reunions grew increasingly tense when it grew clear that Ryan’s wife Mackenzie Standifer and his parents were unwilling to admit to the complications of Ryan’s substance abuse, and even blamed Maci for some of his problems!

Recently, Maci was also the subject of some classic Teen Mom fanbase pregnancy rumors. They arose after Maci showed off her new Things That Matter clothing line merch.

Maci and Tyler decided to model these Things That Matter jackets themselves, and many fans thought that they spotted a baby bump!

“Are u pregnant?!?!?!?!!!!!” one fan demanded in the comments section. Another wrote, “Are you prego or just a bad angle? The position of your fist on your hip too.”

One fan chimed in, “Something we can finally comment on! So are you expecting 🤰🏽? You are glowing! Congratulations if so!” Another added, “You look like you are pregnant in this photo. If you are congrats!”

But many fans wrote in with their annoyance of these constant questions as well. “Man y’all can’t just like a picture without asking if someone is fricken pregnant!! How rude!” one fan wrote. Another typed, “do you know how rude it is to ask if she’s preggo! If she is she’ll let us know when she wants too.”

“These rumors pop up all time. Literally for the past three years, there have been innumerable times that the press has reported Maci is pregnant or that a baby bump has been spotted. It’s clear that the media and fans want Maci to be pregnant, as it’s a story that keeps popping up,” the insider told Champion Daily.

“If she was to respond once, she’d have to continue responding each time they came out,” they added. “It would be a constant effort on her part of having to squash the stories and the rumors each time they were put out.”

Although it still seems up in the air whether Maci and Taylor will have another child, another OG star shared that she just got her tubes tied!
