Not me, but a girl from high school. She got pregnant in grade nine on the night she lost her virginity (!!). She didn’t tell her parents till she was almost 5 months along. She was tiny and didn’t even know herself that she was pregnant till she was past her first trimester. She told them at her birthday dinner with the hope that they would be less reactive because it was her birthday. Wrong. They were devout pentacostals and had a complete meltdown over the depravity of sex before marriage, etc. They made her a) announce to their congregation the sin she had committed and b) apologize to her congregation for letting them down. A friend of mine posted her sonogram picture to instagram and tagged her mom. An argument ensued. Unfortunately the picture was deleted. Apparently that’s not the mature response to a pregnancy. (Slaughterhouse451)
