Having a baby is one of the most exciting times of many women’s lives, but it inevitably comes with a little extra weight. The Teen Mom cast members have all had their weight fluctuations that comes with the territory of being pregnant multiple times. As a result, they’ve all figured out their own methods for getting the weight off.
For many of them, this meant going under the knife. From tummy tucks to chest lifts, one by one many cast members have trimmed the baby weight off with cosmetic procedures. However, Chelsea Houska chose a different path.
The Teen Mom 2 star has shown off an incredible body transformation since giving birth to her second baby, Watson, last year. Now she’s sharing with fans her trick to losing the weight and keeping it off.
Chelsea Houska now has a beautiful family of four. She recently walked down the aisle with Cole DeBoer, and together they raise her daughter Aubree and their shared son Watson. If there’s one thing Chelsea and Cole have always been on the same page about, it’s that they want an even bigger family, which means they could be announcing a pregnancy any day now.
It’s normal to gain weight during when expecting a baby, but from the looks of Chelsea these days, it’s hard to believe she was ever pregnant at all! The young mom has been showing off a slimmed out and totally toned body, which has fans wondering how she managed to accomplish so much since Watson is only a year old.
Chelsea has shared her weight loss methods in the past, but now she’s sharing a tip that seems to explain how she managed to drop so much weight.
“How did @ChelseaHouska lose her baby weight? Need tips!” wrote one of her fans on Twitter. Chelsea shot back quickly, “Low carb ?.”
“She also does Crossfit, working out and lifting,” another fan chimed in according to OK Magazine. But busy mom Chelsea pointed out, “I wish I still did CrossFit ? I haven’t been to a gym since I was pregnant haha.”
They say you can’t outrun a bad diet, and so Chelsea seems to have done most of her work in the kitchen. Now she’s clearing up one tip that seems to have helped: Cauliflower everything!
She shared an image on Instagram that explained the way she diets. “Welcome to your 30s,” it reads. “A cauliflower substitute has replaced all the carbs you love and the only joy you get is watching shows about murder.” She captioned picture, “I’m not even 30 but this is 10000000% accurate for my life ??”
It’s not always easy for the star, though. “It sucks,” she wrote on Twitter. “Today I made banana bread and tacos for the fam while I ate my chicken and asparagus.” She manages to make things a little bit better by planning ahead. “I do easy/quick meal prep. Lots of chicken breast and broccoli microwave steamers!” she shared.
