Who knew Farrah was a psychiatrist?
When it comes to the Teen Moms, sometimes we forget the women behind it all: their own mothers. It seems like a number of them have some pretty rough relationships with their mothers, and Farrah’s dealings with her own mother have always been somewhat hard to watch.
She’s had some heartbreaking and uncomfortable moments confronting her mom about certain issues in their relationships, including trying to push each other into therapy. Well, as it turns out, Farrah has some pretty heated opinions about her mother’s mental health that she’s not too shy about sharing.
Mommy and Me
Since Farrah has been in the public eye for so long, we’ve been able to watch her and her mom’s relationship unfold… in some of the worst ways. Even though her mother bailed her out multiple times when she was backed into a corner, Farrah has never really held back when it comes to what she really thinks about Debs.
That Time Farrah Said She Wanted Her Mom to Die
Farrah and Debra haven’t only bestowed their drama-filled lives upon us through through Teen Mom. They also appeared on Marriage Bootcamp: Reality Stars Family Edition. This was when Farrah delightfully went on a rant about her mother, which she finished off with “so I’m like, then f**king die already!”
… So, if anything, Farrah’s not afraid to be up front with viewers about her relationship with her mother.
Dr. Farrah Abraham, Psychiatrist
Farrah graced us with more of her presence when she appeared on This Life Podcast . Dr. Drew, who Farrah has had some beef with in the past, prompted her pretty heavily when he said, “I’m thinking there’s something really there that you’ve been pounding against your whole life and your mom isn’t aware it’s there and it’s of a psychiatric nature… Not psychological but more like biological and you’re wanting something from her that she just can’t do because of this biology. Am I on to something here?”
