People of all ages would love to meet their favorite Teen Mom star, and Kailyn Lowry gave her fans a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to meet up with her in person.
Many fans were looking forward to traveling out to her meet-and-greet to meet her face to face. There was just one problem: Kailyn never showed up! Could Kailyn have just lost the respect of her most faithful fans?
Come Meet Kailyn!
Even though Teen Mom may seem like nothing but drama on the surface, the show is actually very important to many viewers. Some women have watched the Teen Mom cast members from the very beginning, using the stars’ strength and dedication as inspiration to live a better life. So when fans thought they had an opportunity to meet Kailyn Lowry in person, many of them were excited to finally get to know her.
“I am going to the Los Angeles Times Festival of Books!” Kailyn Lowry wrote on her website on March 14. “On April 21 & 22 come visit me at booth 202 at the Los Angeles Times Festival of books!” She planned to make an appearance at the festival to promote her book, A Letter of Love. But anyone expecting to meet Kailyn was in for a rude awakening.
“Some fans are saying they cancelled their weekend plans to attend this signing & meet her, some traveled hours to get there, & they waited all day in the hot sun,” explained reddit user FunDisk6. “Only for her to no show.”
Meanwhile, Kailyn seemed to be living her best life with no indication of being sorry. User FunDisk6 writes that fans then “[hopped] on Instagram & [saw] pics of Kailyn posing next to her new Suburban & on a carefree weekend & she says the boys are with their Dads. She gave no notice to anyone that she was not going to show up for the book signing.”
Some fans took their complaints straight to Kailyn. Replying to Kailyn’s tweet that she needs to “get her life together,” Twitter user @stem3582 wrote, “You can start by apologizing to everyone that wasted their time to come to your book signing that you didnt show up for…” And even fans who didn’t plan to attend were not happy.
