Baby girl?
Unlike other members of the Teen Mom cast, Kailyn insisted that she didn’t want to find out whether her baby was male or female until she gave birth. That hasn’t stopped fans from speculating though.
Some fans are done simply speculating, as they are positive that they’ve got it figured out that Kailyn is having a girl. Here’s what tipped them off.

Unlike Briana, who posted the name and sex of her baby on Instagram weeks before Stella Star’s birth, Kailyn insists on staying tight lipped about whether she’s having a girl or a boy.
Fans have latched on to some signs, like the fact that she tweeted about the name “Murphy,” to mean that she may be having a boy. No matter how much they ask, Kail won’t give a definitive yes or no. No matter… Fans are sure that they’ve figured it out anyway.

Fans went wild when one Reddit user posted this screencap from Kailyn’s Twitter. Unlike her normally lengthy and sometimes personal tweets, this one was only one character.
It’s the sign for female, and nothing else.
This led some fans to believe that Kailyn had figured out she was having a girl… and that she had given birth!

As it turns out, the most likely explanation comes down to technology.
It looks like the fan who posted the female sign simply didn’t have the capability of viewing emojis on their phones. When looking at Kail’s tweet directly on Twitter, it’s clear that the emoji is a woman shrugging — which may have showed up as a female symbol on phones that don’t have emojis.
Still, that didn’t stop fans from blowing up Kail’s mentions.
