In fact, on the most recent episode of TM2 Live!, Babs appeared without her daughter (who allegedly refused to appear alongside her mom) and she had a lot to say about David’s behavior. According to her, Jenelle’s perception that Eason isn’t there to coast on her fame is dead wrong. Babs revealed that David quit his job and no longer works for anything.

Babs didn’t stop with criticizing David, though. She went so far as to accuse Jenelle of continually choosing controlling men who won’t change, asserting that her daughter consistently “puts these men in front of her children.” Barbara also let on that she blames David for the problems that she and Jenelle are currently having.

Based on some of the things that we’ve seen over the past year, Barbara might not be entirely wrong. Much like Jenelle, David has a troubled past. He, like his bride-to-be, has struggled with substance abuse and has had quite a few run-ins with the law— drug charges, domestic violence, and breaking-and-entering.
