We love it!
There’s nothing more exciting than announcing a pregnancy… especially when it was planned. Even though pregnancy announcements have shaken up the Teen Mom cast from the very beginning, these days, the cast members are in much more stable points of their lives. That means when they find out they’re pregnant, it tends to be a moment of celebration and happiness instead of anxiety and worry.
Now that many of the Teen Mom cast members are married, we’re seeing more Teen Mom babies than ever. In fact, the majority of the cast members have a child under two years old right now! Lucky for us, the Teen Mom family is continuing to grow, and Chelsea Houska was the most recent star to announce that she’s having another baby.
But Chelsea wasn’t going to spill all of the details that easy. She’s been very open with fans about her pregnancy from the beginning, but there are some things she’s keeping private… like the name that she’s chosen for her child!
She’s revealed that although she and Cole have a name picked out, they’ve decided to keep it under wraps until her baby is born. But did she change her mind — or just accidentally let slip the name she picked out? Fans are convinced that Chelsea has just revealed the name of her baby!

We'll see!
Even before Chelsea Houska confirmed that she’s pregnant for the third time, fans were already theorizing about it. For a girl who is normally so toned and thin due to her baby weight blasting secrets , she was starting to wear more flowy shirts that seemed to reveal a growing bump. But when fans asked her about it, she was quick to shut down rumors.
But obviously fans were right to be suspicious! Chelsea recently revealed that she and Cole are expecting another baby… and this time, it’ll be a girl!
“....GUESS WHAT!” she wrote on Instagram on a picture of an ultrasound. “A sweet baby girl will be joining the DeBoer clan in a few short months! We could not be more excited! 🎀”
This will be Cole DeBoer’s first time raising a baby girl, and he shared the picture on his own Instagram as well. “This proud dad is getting a new Bow...and it’s nailed my heart,” he wrote.
Chelsea was quick to share more details with fans. She shared that her due date is in September, but she’s expecting an early arrival. “But I’m thinking she’ll come in August because I tend to have my babies a couple weeks early!” Chelsea said, adding, “We’ll see!”
Baby Girl
In the meantime, Chelsea is sharing her “pregnancy fashion” styles with fans: “So far it consists of leggings and hoodies cause it’s freezing here 😂” she said. “We’ll see how I keep myself together in the summer though! I remember summer was miserable when I was pregnant with Aubree!”
She’s also been getting loads of love from her co-stars. Leah Messer congratulated her on Twitter, along with Kailyn Lowry, who wrote: “So happy for my babies! @ChelseaHouska & cole & fam!”
Chelsea’s parents also weighed in to say that it wasn’t always easy keeping this exciting news a secret. “I would like official recognition from @ChelseaHouska that @ritahouska and I are the most awesome secret keepers,” he wrote, tagging her on Twitter.
She’s even been spilling her decor plans. “Does anyone else feel like most of the baby girl stuff is TOO ‘foofy’ ?! I want more options than just pink everything,” Chelsea recently tweeted. We fully expect this baby to be dressed in flannel just like her mom!
Chelsea has been open about her pregnancy, but there’s one thing she’s not willing to share: her baby’s name. But fans think she may have just let slip her name game!
Baby Willow?
“Chelsea is naming her new baby Willow,” speculated reddit user countlesscourt. They shared a picture of Chelsea cooking up a batch of chocolate covered rice krispies treats, which she captioned, “Making @TM.PI and Baby Willow a treat.”
Fans were quick to approve. “Tbh I love nature names, willow, violet, fern, olive, etc. I think they’re classic yet unique,” wrote user stubsforscience. User PrincessLush agreed, “That’s my best friend’s name so I’m biased, but I think it’s really cute.” But others weren’t buying it.
“I didn’t figure she’s name this baby anything with a W as that would leave Aubree out,” wrote CertainlyNoPatience. User sharkmama0220 agreed, “She said on Kail’s podcast she hates when people name their kids all the same letters or names that go all together, so I doubt she would be using another W name.” User jenlovesmaddie wrote, “I doubt she is going to reveal before the birth.” Soon, fans took it directly to the source for clarification.
“Did I catch baby Willow?!!” asked Twitter user @b*tchinXbriit18. Chelsea responded, “My friend just had a baby, named Willow. And we are going to meet her today.”
Turns out Chelsea is sticking to her guns about not revealing her baby’s name. But this isn’t the first time fans have thought she let her name choice slip!
Name Game
Some fans think that Chelsea and Cole accidentally let the name slip in a recent Instagram post of their daughter’s 4D ultrasound!
“Ok but did @ChelseaHouska say Quinny in her instagram story on the way to the 4D ultrasound?! Is she naming her baby girl Quinn???” wrote Twitter user @blissfull_daze. “I NEED TO KNOW ANSWERS.”
Chelsea responded, “Whaaaa? Nope! lol i think you’re referring to what Cole said and he said ‘sweetie’ in a weird voice.’”
Another fan, Twitter user @KaitlynBabb, wrote, “I thought he said ‘twitty’ like Conway twitty? Lol.” Chelsea clarified, “I think he said ‘tweetie’ to be specific Hahahaha.”
Either way, fans love the name Quinn! “It would be a seriously adorable name,” wrote in Twitter user @jflo8675309. “Quinn Deboer just has a ring to it.”
Chelsea responded, “It’s a cute name! But we already have a name set for our little punkin!”
Chelsea also did a mini question and answer session with all of her fans who want to get to know her better. During the session, we got some major hints about what she’s going to name her daughter!
One fan asked, “Is your baby girl’s name gonna have an -ee name like Aubree?” Chelsea replied, “Nope!”
Another fan asked her, “Do you have any names picked out for your baby girl yet?” Chelsea replied: “i think so, but that’s one thing we like to keep till they are born!”
Luckily, Chelsea dropped a MAJOR hint about potential names. A fan asked her, “If Aubree hadn’t been named Aubree, what would you have named her?” Chelsea replied, “I was JUST telling Aubree the other day the names I considered for her haha. I think it was Payton and Brynn.” This has fans thinking Chelsea may use one of these for her newborn!
The Good and the Bad
In the meantime, Chelsea has also been open with fans about the difficulties involving her pregnancy.
“The back pain I’ve been experiencing during this pregnancy has been something ELSE,” Chelsea recently shared. She added, “I literally feel like she’s growing into my back instead of my stomach.”
She revealed that this complication is particularly difficult because it’s her first time experiencing it. “I never had it with either of my other pregnancies,” she shared. “And I’m only 19 weeks.” She added, “[I’m] scared for when I actually have a huge belly.”
She’s even shared that she has some fears about going into labor!
“I have a question for the mamas!” she wrote on Twitter. “If you went into labor naturally, were your second/third labors LONGER than your first or FASTER? My first was 4 hours, second was 1hr 20min.” She added, “…I’m scared this next baby is gonna fly right out.”
Luckily for Chelsea, she has her faithful Teen Mom 2 friends to help guide her. “It’s hard to tell chelsea!” Kailyn Lowry shared on Twitter. “Mine were 13 hours, 16 hours then 1.5 hours. Lol judging by yours history she might fly out.” Chelsea shot back, “Omg I forgot you had a fast one with Lux too!”
The timing of her labor seems to be concerning as well! “OMG I’m so scared that coles gonna be at work and I’m gonna go into labor at home with both kids here with me,” she wrote, adding, “Gonna start prepping Aubree for labor duties!”
Still, this pregnancy seems to be going smooth for Chelsea overall. “This one is almost identical to how I felt with Aubree,” she wrote on Twitter. “Lots of energy, feel pretty good, not gaining as much weight as fast.” She even already has a plan for how to get back in shape after she gives birth: “For sure gonna be taking a lot of walks with the kids once the weather is nice!”
Chelsea spilled that she has yet to have too many cravings, but the one thing she’s been wanting more than anything is Cinnabon! “I think that’s more just because it’s delicious and less of a pregnancy craving,” she explained.
Shockingly, some fans aren’t convinced that Chelsea is having the healthiest pregnancy. In fact, some believe that she might be promoting unhealthy weight loss during her pregnancy!
Easy Dollar
The concern began when Chelsea shared that she was embarking on a journey with a weight-loss company during her pregnancy. “Hey!! I'm so excited to be able to finally share with everyone my weight loss journey after having Watson with @profile_sanford,” she shared on a recent Instagram update, tagging the post #ad.
“I'll be blogging my entire journey, including how this has helped me make better choices during my current pregnancy, telling my fav profile foods and recipes and so much more that I love about Profile!! If you're ready to get started and join me with Profile, use my code: CHELSEA for 50% off a membership!!! Such a great deal! Best decision I made after Watson and its helped me so much to remain healthy during this pregnancy!! Can't wait to tell you more!! Xoxo.”
Even though Chelsea seems pumped to share (and profit from) her new partnership, fans were less excited. “Shady,” wrote reddit user charcuterie_bored. “Seems like a typical d-list celeb money grab. I highly doubt she actually used this specific program to lose weight.” User beautiousmaximus wrote, “Idk going on a diet while pregnant is weird in every way.”
Many fans clearly believe Chelsea didn’t use this program to lose weight at all. “Why in the frack is Chelsea shilling a medical weight-loss program when she is pregnant? Like, we get it. You lost a ton of weight after Watson. Big whoop. But now claims it was this program (told her 'fannzzzz' it was keto) and is now pregnant shilling this?” wrote user makeupaddikt08.
Fans even worried that the products could be unhealthy during pregnancy, and that Chelsea could be inspiring others to try them despite this fact. “It p*sses me off that they shill this sh*t while pregnant. There's no long term studies on this, so I wouldn't risk taking it while pregnant but if people ask them they'll say ‘oh yes it's safe!’ Knowing d*mn well they aren't really using it. Anything for an easy dollar.”
In fact, some fans believe Chelsea could even be suffering from an eating disorder!
Unhealthy Habits?
Chelsea is sharing pictures of her baby bump, and it’s clear that she’s staying petite during this pregnancy. A recent share of her bump at 20 weeks received endless comments about her slim shape.
Reddit user keatonpotat0es joked, “If that’s her at 20 weeks pregnant then I must be like six years pregnant.” User teabaggedyourdrumset wrote, “Jesus I'm about to be 23 weeks tomorrow with my second and I'm HUGE. I can't believe she's so tiny with her third. Good for her!”
But there were some fans who are concerned about Chelsea’s relationship with her weight. This may have to do with her promoting a weight loss program while she’s pregnant.
“I mean I feel like there's being in shape while pregnant, and then there's this. Tbh i won't be surprised when a few years from now Chelsea reveals she was suffering from an eating disorder,” wrote user disenchanted_elle. “Unpopular opinion so come at me bro.”
User Pinkiexoxoxo wrote, “2 stints of treatment at [eating disorder clinic] Renfrew for anorexia in my early 20's and I agree. I feel like eating healthy and treating your body with respect is a GOOD thing but i feel like her obsession with weight after Watson and now into this pregnancy is going a bit far. I think she ‘prides’ herself on being little as opposed to be being healthy.” User awolfsvalentine wrote, “i too have been admitted for treatment twice for anorexia and recognize patterns of behavior i’m seeing with our girl chels here.”
Chelsea isn’t the only one on fans’ radars when it comes to eating disorders. Her co-stars Jenelle Evans, Farrah Abraham, and Mackenzie Mckee have even been accused of promoting eating disorders!
Going Too Far?
“#ad I’ve really been liking @flattummyco’s new lollipops that just dropped this week. They’re designed to suppress my appetite, and I find they’re already started working. Over the past couple days whenever I felt like snacking, I’ve been reaching for these lollipops instead, andI find I’m not eating anything else between meals. You gotta get your own. #suckit #flattummypops,” reads one of Jenelle Evans’ recent Instagram posts.
Farrah Abraham also shared a snap of her new product! “#ad I’m so excited to tell you guys about what’s already my new favorite thing; @flattummyco's appetite suppressant lollipops! 🍭I seriously don’t know how they did it, but they’re super yum and only have 35 calories with no artificial flavours or preservatives. I just grab one when I’m starting to feel hungry in between meals and they completely hold me over until my next meal. I’m obviously going to be carrying these around with me all summer 💁🏽. Ladies if you haven’t yet…you should really check them out! #flattummypops,” she wrote.
Fans are concerned about some of the language in their promotional captions, as some believe they promote unhealthy or even disordered eating habits!
User @theheatherashley wrote, “WEIGHTLOSS PSA: Appetite suppressants aren’t how you lose weight, they’re how you gain anorexia. Your body NEEDS food to fuel it’s body or it will eat itself to make sure you don’t die. When it starts eating itself, your metabolism lowers, working against future weightloss.” User @kelseyfeldman agreed, “If you’re hungry then you should eat. This isn’t something to promote especially to the younger audience you have.” User @carrie.b.nongkhlaw even wrote, “Let’s take action guys as responsible adults!!!! REPORT THIS TO IG ASAP!!!!! The more people report the more IG WILL REMOVE!!! THESE types of INSENSITIVE ADVERTS are the reasons why kids have eating disorders!!!!” And @0711_v wrote, “as an influencer, you should be ashamed of yourself. these kinds of stuff leads to eating disorders.”
