If you know anything about Jenelle Evans, you know that she and her mother, Barbara Evans, aren’t on very good terms. The two have been battling for custody of Jace for years now, and even though Jenelle has recently regained some custody of her son, Barbara is making it pretty clear that she’s still holding most of the cards.

Jenelle was frustrated and teary-eyed when she went to court to attempt to regain custody of her eight-year-old son, Jace. The custody battle was a long and difficult road for Jenelle. Even though she thought that she would regain full custody, she ultimately was not rewarded primary custody. Instead, she was given a visitation plan, meaning Jenelle would have Jace only on weekends, holidays, and during the summer.

The birthday party that Barbara threw for Jace may seem like an example of being a good grandmother, if it weren’t for the fact that his own mother wasn’t invited. Jenelle didn’t make the invitation list for her own son’s birthday party, and, as if that weren’t enough, Barbara made sure to post pictures so Jenelle could see what she missed out on.

Barbara posted a picture of Jace’s birthday party on her Instagram, and made it very clear that she and her grandson had a great day, even though Jenelle didn’t make an appearance. She wrote, “Jace having his 8 year old Birthday Party today with his friends Great Day!!!”
