Over the years, the entirety of the Teen Mom cast have become more and more outspoken about mental illness. Many of them suffer from conditions like depression or personality disorders in addition to healing from the trauma of their pasts. Catelynn Lowell, Tyler Baltierra, and their Teen Mom OG co-star Amber Portwood have all made an effort to reduce the stigma of their mental health problems over the years. Sometimes, that means having difficult conversations even if you don’t want to.
But when Tyler shared a tweet about how he was feeling, not everyone saw it as a discussion on mental health. Many think that this update only shows how unhappy he is in his marriage.

“Laying in bed next to my peacefully sleeping wife,” Tyler tweeted this morning. “I can hear my daughter snoozing away through the monitor in her room. My dog is cuddled up on the floor next to me…& yet I feel so empty…so alone,” he wrote, adding, “#TheCruelIronyOfLife.”
Catelynn soon responded, writing, “I am so sorry babe… I will do anything to help you… you are an amazing husband and father and are so caring, funny, and thoughtful… don’t let life bring you down because you are one strong man… I love you so much.”
Fans were quick to weigh in on the situation to Catelynn. “Don’t you 2 live in the same house?” asked Twitter user @big_toona99. “Can’t you say this face 2 face instead of on [social media]?” Catelynn replied, “[Tyler] is sleeping so gtfo.” Another fan wrote, “It’s time for Tyler to go and get help. Marriage is GIVE and take. He needs a mental break from you.” Catelynn shot back, “And he can have that! Y’all are so ignorant.”

With everything going on between them, fans are seeing this new update as a huge red flag. Tyler’s recent tweet about cheating on Catelynn Lowell doesn’t make him look any less suspicious! “Their social media activity the past few days has been bizarre,” wrote reddit user kelseyxiv. “Between her desperately tweeting him sexual things while he’s in NY because she is jealous of the girls and attention he’s getting, to her #momlife campaign, then to Tyler talking about feeling like somethings missing in his life and he feels alone…
