Being a mother isn’t easy, even if it is your third time around the block. Even the most experienced parents are bound to mess something up now and again. Of course, the Teen Mom cast are held to a higher standard since there are millions of people paying attention to their parenting around the clock!
The cast members are bound to have slip ups now and then, but has Jenelle gone way too far? Fans are disturbed after she’s defending a choice that could have risked her daughter’s life!

When Jenelle Evans makes a decision, she sticks to her guns. Even when it comes to her most questionable choices, she always defends herself. This time around, fans think that she and her husband David Eason should reconsider a major decision… because they think it could affect her daughter’s safety!
David and Jenelle welcomed their adorable daughter Ensley into the world over a year ago. The newlyweds are generous with sharing adorable pictures of her all across social media, and normally fans are excited to get snaps of the little one. But one recent picture had fans upset.
“I don’t need your opinion guys, I can buckle myself! #worryaboutyourself,” David Eason captioned this shot of Ensley playing with her seatbelt. On the surface, the picture is adorable, but fans quickly noticed something very wrong.

“I am a fan of Jenelle and no way I am bashing, but… the straps are giving me anxiety,” wrote one fan in the Instagram comments. “I do know that in The States laws and car seats are different, maybe they just don’t know.” Another wrote, “I hope y’all were stopped or getting out of the car, because if ya were ever in an accident she would be seriously injured! Proper car seat safety isn’t optional, it’s life-saving. Fix the sweet girl’s straps!”
David made it very clear that he’s not happy with the feedback. He went through all of the comments, deleting any negative responses and blocking the users who posted them… which got him into even more trouble with fans.
“If David makes an entire post acting like something doesn’t bother him, it obviously bothers him,” wrote reddit user foodcityoffhwy58. User lakenessmonster wrote, “It’s not opinions, David. It’s manufacturer safety guidelines and correct use of technologies designed to keep your kid safe.”

Still, many fans came to David’s defense, pointing out that the picture was likely just a joke.
“It’s clear to me that the baby attempted to buckle herself, and he was taking a photo to show that. I don’t believe for one second they drove her around like that. People need to relax,” wrote user RealMamaMonster. User AlissonLeech pointed out, “I’m sure he buckled her in after he took the photo. It’s not like the car was in motion.”
Jenelle’s husband may be in the hot seat right now, but Jenelle herself has been stirring up her own social media craze as well. Recently it seems that she’s dropping huge hints that she’s pregnant!
