She's a new woman!
Amber Portwood has been facing a lot of struggles lately, and a lot of fans feel that there’s something — or someone — specific to blame. That someone is controversial boyfriend Matt Baier, who is rumored to have cheated on her multiple times, and who it seems is constantly at odds with Amber, even though they’ve been together for a while.
She’s recently called off her wedding with him… for the second time. They were reportedly staying together to try to make the relationship work, but recently Amber took to Twitter to announce some changes in her life. Could this mean that we’re about to finally see a split?
A Long Relationship

Amber and Matt have been together for what seems like forever. It’s at least been long enough for the lovebirds to get engaged, and then plan and subsequently call off a wedding not once but twice. Has Amber finally had enough of Matt’s controversial ways?

At this point, certain fans are all but begging Amber to split things off with Matt. From his use of homophobic slurs to the evidence of him cheating on her, it’s left many of us wondering how they haven’t broken up already. Especially since it seems pretty clear that Amber doesn’t want to marry him.

It’s impossible to know exactly what Amber was referring to when she posted this tweet, but it’s certainly one of the more optimistic things to come out of her in a while. She’s starting on her “new beginning.” More importantly, she says she’ll have “no one holding her back.” Does that mean no Matt?
