Getting Ugly

“I’m thirteen weeks pregnant,” Amber told a producer in an episode from last season of Teen Mom OG. “I think I’m far along enough to where I could find out what [gender] the baby is on Monday.”
“Yeah,” Andrew said, but added, “Do you want to find out?”
Amber seemed taken aback immediately. “Well, of course I do,” she said, looking offended.
“Do you want to wait just a little bit longer?” Andrew asked. “You just want the mystery gone?”
“Why do I need a mystery on a baby?!” Amber demanded. When Andrew suggested painting the nursery a neutral color like “taupe or something,” Amber rolled her eyes. “No, baby, listen,” she said. “I want to know what the baby is so I can get prepared. If it’s a boy, I’ve never had a boy.” Then she exclaimed, “I’m getting annoyed right now, I’m getting stressed out!”
Andrew suggested just getting “gender neutral stuff,” but Amber lost it. “Stop!” she said. “I’m done! I’m done!” When Andrew went on about the color, she cursed and added, “What is happening?! What is the big deal? … I’m getting p*ssed off! It’s the weirdest argument, it’s the weirdest thing!”
Andrew again insisted, “It’s called gender neutral,” but Amber yelled, “Baby, I don’t give a s**t about your hippie bulls**t right now! I’m done!” It’s not a comfortable argument to watch, but you can check out the whole thing for yourself here.
