Amber Portwood has a lot on her hands right now. She and her boyfriend Andrew Glennon are preparing to be parents — Amber for the second time and Andrew for the first. The couple is navigating what exactly that means, and it’s not easy considering they’ve only been together for a few months. As with many couples before them, unexpected pregnancy has put quite a strain on their relationship, and it only seems to be getting more complicated as time goes on.

Soon after Amber announced that she was pregnant, rumors began swirling about the paternity of the child. Amber has never so much as hinted that anyone other than her boyfriend Andrew Glennon could be the father, but the timeline has led fans to question her certainty. After Amber revealed her baby’s due date, fans began to seriously question whether Andrew was the father of her child. Now, that question is being amplified — it’s even being discussed on the show.
Still Sinking In

Amber has been vocal about her disapproval of the way Gary and his wife Kristina talk about her on the show. In fact, she recently went on a heated rant against the couple for bashing her on camera, calling them “idiots.” Considering all that, she probably won’t be happy when she catches this week’s episode, during which Gary and Kristina question who her child’s father really is.
Even though Gary and Kristina won’t have a direct relationship to Amber’s new child, it’s unquestionable that this new pregnancy will affect them. They seemed shocked at the first revelation, and in this week’s episode, they continued to process the news. The couple seemed shocked at how quickly Amber got pregnant after meeting Andrew.
“I think my biggest concern with Amber being pregnant is it seems like they met and then she got pregnant,” Gary told his wife. “It had to have been within a week of them hanging out or something.”
“Well, that’s what she said — that it was fast,” Kristina agrees. Then, Gary says what’s been on the minds of many of Amber’s friends.
One Can Hope

“My thing is… hopefully it’s not Matt’s!” he said. He laughed, but it seems he’s still concerned by the idea. Kristina reassured him, saying, “I think there was a break between Matt and Andrew — I think I mean, I don’t know!”
“If they’re happy, then let them be happy. So I have nothing negative to say,” Gary said. He explained that he’s hoping to get to know Andrew better, but it seems like Andrew is pretty shy about his new situation. Then things turned negative again when he questioned how long the couple would last.
