Keeping a Safe Distance
Nikkole Paulun isn’t on Teen Mom 2, but she has a pretty big fanbase from her appearance on 16 and Pregnant. Those fans have had a lot to worry about recently after Nikkole revealed that things with her on-and-off ex Joshua Drummond have escalated from a little creepy to blatantly dangerous. Now it seems Nikkole is putting the law on her side when it comes to her safety.

Explosive Past

Nikkole’s 16 and Pregnant episode appeared in 2010, and viewers could probably immediately see that her baby daddy, Joshua Drummond, had a bit of an explosive personality. He was expelled from school, cheated on Nikkole, and stood her up at their Homecoming dance. While Nikkole was giving birth to their child, he was fighting with her mother.
Even though things ended between them, Nikkole recently opened up that she had been dating Josh in secret, and he had some dangerous tendencies.
A Volatile Personality

Nikkole recently opened up on Instagram about her relationship with Josh and how dangerous he had become. She started with, “Let me start by saying I never thought I would share this and it is taking a lot of courage in me to do so. My intentions are that I could possibly help someone going through a similar situation.”
She admitted that she had been secretly seeing Josh, and that, although things seemed okay at first, they quickly took a turn for the worse.
She shared, “Joshua suffers from a mental illness deeper than I could’ve ever imagined. One that he chooses to medicate with drugs. He has yet to be properly diagnosed so I can’t tell you what it is, I can just tell you that it’s very, very horrible (My best guess is manic bipolar).”
Dangerous Tendencies

In addition to Josh harming himself, he also harmed his family. “A month or so in, he facetimed me and told me he was killing himslef if I didn’t let him come home & proceeded to cut his arm on FaceTime with me (I screenshotted to show his family how serious everything was),” she wrote. “Cops were called, he went missing, he was found, taken to the hospital, refused treatment, came back to where he was staying, & strangled his family member until they passed out… y’all that would’ve been me.”
Nikkole has since made the decision to get the law involved to protect herself from Josh’s tendencies.
