Other than collecting MTV's checks, of course
MTV has made a mint off of their shows 16 & Pregnant, Teen Mom OG, and Teen Mom 2, and they reward the moms of the show accordingly. Though some of the girls choose to have regular jobs or have gotten an education, they make enough money filming the show a few months out of the year to not need other income.
The men featured on the shows also receive some big checks for their cooperation, but they probably aren't pulling down what the ladies are, so they need to have some extra cash to get by.
Cole DeBoer
Cutie Cole is now a husband and a father to a newborn baby boy. Cole has had a more stable life than the other guys we've seen on the show, and he works as a Traffic Control Specialist in South Dakota.
Adam Lind
Chelsea's ex Adam was not always this pumped. When we first met him he was quite thin and lanky. But his intense weight training got him a gig as a sponsored weightlifter/personal trainer.
Matt Baier
Matt is the oldest person in this bunch, so you know he's had a lot of different jobs. Most recently, he's tried his hand at flipping houses alongside Amber, though their two lawsuits about damage done to the houses they've rented doesn't look promising.
Gary Shirley
Gary is the father of Amber Portwood's only child, and he's got another one with his current wife. He was trying to help people not have babies of their own by releasing a line of condoms.
Cookie Game
When that failed at the condom game, he tried to sell cookies and other confectionaries, but the government put a big lien for almost $8,000 on his properties for owing too much in taxes in 2014.
Taylor McKinney
Maci's husband Taylor used to have the dangerous job of motocross racing, but now he helps run Maci's clothing business Things That Matter. They're having a great time raising their two children and Maci's first child together.
Gone Pecan
In August 2016, Things That Matter was dissolved legally because Maci and Taylor had not filed an annual report. They were allowed to sell the remainder of the thier wares though. They were also given an option to renew the business if they paid to do so.
Ryan Edwards
Maci Bookout's ne'er-do-well ex Ryan was once a lineman where a person works on power lines to keep electricity flowing. He used to race dirtbikes, but he never really went pro.
Freeloading
He got kicked out of his parents' house in early 2016 because he didn't have a job. But in December 2016, he proposed to his girlfriend Mackenzie. There's no word on whether he's currently working.
Tyler Baltierra
Tyler hasn't had a formal job that we know of, other than being the co-author of Conquering Chaos and hosting the MTV special Reunited. However, he and Catelynn have made money doing lectures about adoption.
Corey Simms
Leah's first husband, Corey, made his living reading meters for the water company. His current wife Miranda is a stay-at-home mom to their baby and Corey's twins, but she used to be a cop.
Jeremy Calvert
Jeremy and Leah found it hard to sustain their marriage, in part, because Jeremy was often gone due to his job as a pipeliner. They've since divorced, and he seems to be separated from his fiancée Brooke.
CalvertWehr
Before Brooke kicked Jeremy to the curb and named the three women she believed he cheated on her with, they were trying to start up their own online business. Oddly, the online store never actually launched, and Calvertwehr.com will soon become Jeremycalvert.com.
Jo Rivera
Kailyn's first baby daddy, Jo, was given a lot of crap for refusing to work, despite having two babies to support. I guess he feels like his MTV check is enough.
Javi Marroquin
Javi and Kailyn's relationship was strained because Javi was deployed overseas for months while working as an airman in the U.S. Air Force. He's also toying with the idea of writing his own tell-all book called Heartlessly Hustled.
Nathan Griffith
Jenelle Evans has a lot of ex guys in her life. Nathan was a more prominent figure in her love life; he's the father of her second child Kaiser. We're not sure what he's been up to in between his legal issues for abusing his girlfriend twice, but he was once a marine.
David Eason
Before David started appearing on the show as Jenelle's boyfriend, he was a pipe welder. Now he's just having a great time being a father, step-father, and fiancé. And he's trying to avoid fights with his future mother-in-law.
Simon Saran
Though Simon refuses to go to the next level with Farrah, we can't deny that he's been hanging around the family enough to include him here. Simon has done pretty well for himself in the real estate game.
Livable Wages
It's obvious that the girls are getting bigger and bigger checks every year. They made a typical yearly salary for a young 20-something when they first started filming, but their annual wages are well into the six-digit range now. They certainly don't need to keep a regular job, but it would be nice to have when the show ends and those checks stop coming in.
More Men?
We never know when these girls are going to break up, make up, or hook up, but we'll be here to let you know all about the new guys they encounter. We still haven't met Kailyn's third baby daddy yet.
