Over the years, we’ve had countless Teen Mom stars announce their pregnancies… and they’ve all done it in different ways. While some used to wait for the cameras to roll to reveal that they’re pregnant, it’s getting harder and harder to do that as news leaks across social media.
Nowadays, some just rely on posting their ultrasounds to social media to reveal their pregnancies. But for others, fans discover that they’re pregnant before they even announce it!
For Jenelle Evans and Kailyn Lowry, their most recent pregnancies were discovered by fans before they could make the official announcement. Is this Teen Mom OG star following suit?
Teen Mom OG will be returning to MTV in just a short time, and we already know that this season will be covering one pregnancy: that of Ryan Edwards’ wife, Mackenzie Edwards. In fact, it was recently confirmed that MTV will be filming it for the season.
Ryan Edwards’ father, Larry, confirmed this update to The Sun Online.
“She will be here after Christmas and the New Year,” Larry revealed. “Ryan said he is going to spoil her. He wants to give her my camaro! She’s going to be a daddy’s girl.”
He also confirmed that the birth will be filmed. “The crew is going to come in town a day or two before the baby comes to film the birth.”
Although Mackenzie and Ryan have been keeping the name of their child a secret, Larry dropped a huge hint about the name!
He revealed that his granddaughter will have a “family name.”
“The middle name is after a member on my wife Jen’s side. The first name is a modern name. It’s cool,” he shared.
Mack isn’t the only one with a confirmed pregnancy. Cheyenne Floyd’s baby daddy Cory Wharton and his girlfriend Taylor Selfridge are having a child together quite soon as well!
But now, fans think that MTV might be capturing three pregnancies this season!
“Is Cheyenne pregnant?” one fan wrote on reddit. They penned, “Look at these recent photos.. she definitely looks at least second trimester. She still has a slim face and body except for her middle, and her Instagram pics 1-2 months ago show a slim waist so it’s not like gradual weight gain. There are some modeling photos posted recently but these look totally different.”
But not everyone agrees!
“Looks like she's wearing loose fitting pajamas. Man, do I get sick of the pregnancy police,” wrote user chaosinthetownhouse. User pkoes joked, “Everybody looks like this after Christmas dinners let’s be real.” User Mrs_stepford even blasted the OP, writing, “Looks like she's enjoying her holiday and not commenting on other womens fertility 🤷♀️ try it sometime.”

Ryder In Hospital With Mysterious Illness
Whether you’re a first time parent or a fifth time parent, raising young children can be nerve wracking. From accidents to illnesses, it’s every parent’s worst fear that they’ll have to rush their child to the emergency room.
Unfortunately, this exact scenario has happened to the Teen Mom cast numerous times, both on and off camera. Now, another Teen Mom couple is opening up about the frightening news.
When it comes to Teen Mom, the cameras have rolled inside of hospital walls countless times. Of course, normally, these are very happy occasions: when the crew gets footage of the girls giving birth!
But, of course, not everything that happens within hospital walls is happy, and MTV has also documented numerous emergency situations. Now it appears that another upsetting event may be captured on the show.
Although all of the Teen Mom cast have their fair share of drama, MTV raised the bar when they added a new couple to Teen Mom OG, Cheyenne Floyd and Cory Wharton.
Soon after Cheyenne and Cory had their daughter Ryder, the couple split up. Since then, Cory has also announced that his new girlfriend, Taylor Selfridge is pregnant, and there are shocking accusations that he’s been cheating on Taylor!
But no matter the drama in this family, Cory and Cheyenne will have to stay on good terms to raise their daughter Ryder!
And recently, their relationship was put to the test, as Ryder was just rushed to the hospital! Cheyenne opened up about it on Instagram.
“Ryder’s fever didn’t break and she couldn’t keep food down so we came to the [Emergency Room] to make sure everything was okay..” she shared. With [metabolic condition] VLCAD you can not fast.. The iv is giving her fluids and preventing a metabolic crisis.”
Cheyenne went on,
I’m praying her fever breaks. GOod news is that it’s not the flu so I’m hoping the fluids bring her back to her normal self and we can go home tomorrow. Thank you to everyone who has been reaching out.
Although it’s true that many fans offered an outpouring of love and support for Cheyenne and Ryder, some criticized Cheyenne’s decision to post this publicly!
“Please stop posting pictures of your childs most vulnerable moments. Thank you,” wrote user GuybrushsThreepwood on reddit. User WineNotReality agreed, “In general, public posts taking photos of sick kids when they are at the most vulnerable and posting on social seem invasive of the child and so needy on the parent’s part.” User Amateurcellist92 even penned:
“I’m a children’s doctor and I’m seeing more and more parents post photos of their children as long as they have an IV line or nasal cannula O2. I don’t get it but it’s happening quite a lot.
Recently, I was at a difficult delivery and I was literally resuscitating a newborn who was trying to die, yet all the mother cared about was that the sister was getting that first picture and asking for the baby’s weight. She was thrusting her phone with the camera on in the baby’s face (who had an O2 mask on and was flat and not breathing).
🤷♀️
But others defended Cheyenne. User BatMom525 wrote, “Really don’t like how many people are going in on Cheyenne about this. Her daughter is under the care of professionals and resting. I’d be a mess looking for a bit of positive feedback too.” User Fox-mom agreed, “I understand her posting. When my child was younger they spent months in the hospital and the medical issues were quite extensive. I was alone and scared and wanting to feel some sort of connection to anyone who could help me keep my sanity, so I posted frequently about their journey. “
