This is just as much about the parents as it is about the kids...
If you've been watching Teen Mom from the start, watching the children grow up has probably been both a delight and a huge frustration. While many of the kids have grown up to be adorably well-behaved, others haven't quite gotten out of their more difficult stages yet.
Here's the definitive ranking of the Teen Mom children's behavior on camera from worst to best!
The Young Ones
Honorable mention to the youngest members of the Teen Mom family. I wanted to include all the kids, but Novalee Baltierra, Jayde McKinney, Maverick Reed McKinney, Adalynn Calvert, Lincoln Marroquin, Kaiser Griffith, Ensley Eason, and Watson DeBoer are all a bit too young to have their own places on the list. As of now, they're all just some pretty standard babies. Cute babies, but babies none-the-less.
Know that I didn't forget about them! They're just as much a part of this family as the rest, just a bit too young for fans to really know who they are yet!
Okay, let's get started!
7. Sophia Abraham
Much like her mother, Sophia has gotten quite the reputation over the past eight years. On one hand, it's really not Sophia's fault that she gets portrayed as a brat—I really think it's hate by association with Farrah. On the other hand, she has had her fair share of meltdowns and acting out.
Starting Drama
I mean, remember the time Sophia posted a video calling Nicki Minaj a "loser" when the rapper was feuding with Farrah? I'm pretty sure Farrah encouraged her daughter to do it. Regardless, Sophia seemed really into stirring things up.
Not a shining moment for either Abraham, honestly.
"Bad Attitude"
Who could forget the time Sophia hit Farrah repeatedly, while telling her that she "had a bad attitude"?
In all fairness, Sophia wasn't wrong. Farrah was putting her bad attitude towards her mother on full display. That said, Farrah doesn't treat Debra well either, as shown in the video above.
6. Jace Evans
I actually feel bad for putting Jace so low down on the list; he comes by his behavioral problems 100% honestly.
It's clichéd to say, but his home-life has been unstable for his entire childhood, so far. It can't be easy on him to be passed off between Jenelle and Babs, who are constantly fighting.
Poor Jace
Seriously, kids mirror the behavior that they see. You can actually see it happening in the video above—the more stressed out that Jenelle and Barbara get, the more aggressive Jace gets. It doesn't excuse his behavior at all, but it does make you feel for the kid.
5. Aleeah & Ali Simms
It's a bit hard to split up Aleeah and Ali because we always see them together, so I'm going to place them together (I know, I know, twins aren't the same, but...). It's not that either of them is terribly behaved by any means, but the craziness of Leah's life with three very young girls seems to be taking a toll on the twins.
Backseat Feuds
Aleeah definitely wins the "drama" prize, but Ali has her own little attitude. Being with her sister all the time definitely brings it out in her. I mean, correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't it seem like there's a blow-up of some kind every time the girls are strapped into the car?
Sassy Sisters
Balancing two little girls who are just starting to get sassy, with raising a toddler seems to be getting more and more difficult for Leah. I can't really blame her though—she found herself raising three young daughters alone which can't be easy, especially when one of them has as many health concerns as Ali does.
4. Leah Shirley
Leah's a tough one—she's not poorly behaved per se, but she does have a love for starting drama (let's call it that). We've seen Leah go back and forth between Amber and Gary , telling them different stories about each other. The stories are always hard to get to the bottom of.
Then again, maybe it's her parents who love the drama!
Maybe...
We know that Gary and Amber haven't always kept it 100 between them. When they've been on poor terms, both parents have made some attempts to sway Leah in their favor over the years.
"My Parents"
That said, there was the time that Leah referred to Gary and Kristina as "her parents" right to Amber's face. Can you really blame little Leah for that? She does live with Gary most of the time and has even said that Amber doesn't treat her well when they are together.
3. Isaac Rivera
Kailyn's son Isaac gets in at number three, which (as I'm realizing being this far down the list) is more of a testament to Kailyn, Jo, and Javi than to Isaac himself.
While Kailyn and Javi have been tearing into each other pretty hard this season and Isaac has been through almost as much as all the other kids, he seems very well-adjusted and as well-behaved as you could expect the average seven-year-old to be.
Siblings, am I right?
Sure, he has his tantrums and tough moments, but they're never violent or outrageous. He has (fairly average) pouty moments/ disagreements with his younger brother, Lincoln, but it would almost be more noteworthy if that didn't happen.
Wow!
I must say, I was most impressed with Isaac when watching him discuss his feelings about Kailyn and Javi's split with Jo. Despite being so young, he's able to express his feelings about how Javi and Kail are handling their split without throwing a fit (which would be a totally understandable response, btw). That's pretty impressive. Someone is doing something right.
2. Bentley Edwards
Bentley is a total sweetie. There, I said it. This little boy is almost too nice. Maci can be a strict, take-no-crap kind of parent, and it's clearly paid off in raising her first son. I mean, my heart literally melted watching Maci talk about Bentley's emotional reaction to her engagement to Tyler.
What an angel!
Professional Big Brother
Seriously, this kid could not be any cuter with his siblings. A lot of the Teen Mom kids have been skeptical about getting little brothers and sisters (as many kids are), but Bentley always seems so genuinely pleased about his family and their happiness. It's amazing.
1. Aubree Lind
It was a tough call between Aubree and Bentley, but I put Chelsea Houska's first born in the top spot because she has come so far—as has her mother.
In her younger days, Aubree definitely had a stubborn streak, but over the past year or so she's turned into a totally adorable, happy, and well-behaved little girl.
Come So Far!
She's had a lot of disappointment in life regarding her father, Adam Lind, but she hasn't let her temporarily unstable home life affect her, like some of the other kids have. Not to mention, she's super cute with her mom and even cuter with her new step-dad, Cole.
Big Sister!
Seriously, I almost cried watching Aubree get the news that she's going to be a big sister! That video made my entire week. I hope she's enjoying having little Watson around.
