Breaking up is never easy, especially when you share a family with them. For Jenelle Evans and David Eason, their divorce announcement appeared to be very difficult for both of them.
Soon after the divorce, Jenelle filed for a restraining order against her ex. However, now it appears that tensions between the two are fading away, as Jenelle has dropped the order.
When Jenelle Evans and David Eason’s relationship came to an end, Jenelle revealed the news in an emotional update on Instagram.
“I’ve mostly kept off social media the past few days because I’ve been focused on making some big life decisions,” Jenelle Evans revealed on Instagram last week.
“I’ve lived my life on camera since I was 17 years old. And a lot of it hasn’t been pretty. But it's been my life,” she continued. “Like anyone else I want what’s best for my kids and I want to be happy. With time away from Teen Mom I’ve started to look at my life differently and I know I need to make changes.
“I’m starting that now,” she wrote. Jenelle then continued to explain what is happening with her family.
She went on:
The kids and I have moved away from David.
Nobody gets into a marriage expecting it to end but I know that’s what is best for me, and for my kids.
Today I’ve filed papers to start that process.
I appreciate the support from everybody who has asked how I am. Me and the kids are doing great. We need some time to be together. But you’ll hear from us again soon.

But according to an update by The Ashley’s Reality Roundup, that wasn’t the only legal action that Jenelle took. She’s also filed for and was granted a restraining order against David… and then went into hiding.
“Jenelle is in hiding,” a source revealed to The Ashley. “She has no plans to return to The Land. She left the state and does not plan to come back to North Carolina for her stuff or anything. The kids are with her.”
But now it appears that the tension between Jenelle and David has dropped off. According to an update by Radar Online, Jenelle dropped the restraining order as of today.
The outlet reports that Jenelle and David were expected to appear in Davidson County District Court for a hearing at 9 a.m., but it was cancelled.
A county clerk informed Radar, “There was a notice of voluntary dismissal without prejudice filed by the petitioner on January 10.”
The petitioner of the order was Jenelle, so this indicates that she chose to drop the order.
This has led many to speculate that Jenelle and David may be patching things up -- after all, they can divorce, but they will always remain Ensley Eason’s parents.
In the midst of this, David is facing more legal issues, including an arrest warrant out for him!
David Eason Gives Statement After Warrant Issued for His Arrest
David Eason is currently facing an arrest warrant in North Carolina. Eason married MTV star Jenelle Evans in 2017.
This news comes after David and Jenelle revealed that they were filing for divorce. Since then, Jenelle has reportedly moved to Tennessee. However, the two are still legally married according to recent reports.
As for David, he may have his hands full with the ongoing legal battle for some time, as a warrant is issued for his arrest.
Now, David is speaking out about the events and revealing the truth about his arrest warrant. Keep reading for his side of the story.
The latest news comes at what must be a difficult time for David Eason.
Jenelle Evans shocked fans around the world when she publicly announced via Instagram that she and the father of her third child, David Eason, would be divorcing.
“I’ve mostly kept off social media the past few days,” Jenelle wrote in an emotional notes app-style Instagram update on Oct. 31, 2019. “I’ve been focused on making some big life decisions. I’ve lived my life on camera since I was 17 years old. And alot of it hasn’t been pretty. But it’s been my life.”
She added, “I appreciate the support from everybody who has asked who I am. Me and the kids are doing great. We need some time to be together. But you’ll hear from us again soon.”
Though Jenelle’s explanation of their separation was brief, David has shared even less about the split. Instead, his Instagram shows him off with a trimmed beard, a clean look, and ample pictures of the goats and other livestock that he is taking care of, likely from the North Carolina home that he owns with Jenelle.
As for David, he’s set 2020 off on the right foot. He’s been occupied with his growing knife brand, and has even teased a new music career! It seems clear that David is ready to move on from the past and set his eye on the future and new goals.
Unfortunately, divorce paperwork is not the only legal trouble facing David. He is currently wanted in the state of North Carolina for a 2018 incident.
According to reports by TMZ, the arrest warrant originated with a conflict over an illegal truck-towing incident that took place in 2018.
Allegedly, David towed a man’s truck because the truck had blocked David’s car. David filmed the incident and posted it online, which is how authorities became aware of it.
David captioned the video, “Learn the right way to deal with a$$holes who think it’s cool to block you in a parking space.”
The vehicle owner went on to press charges which led to the court ordering him to appear at a hearing. On the assigned day, David’s lawyer appeared, but David did not.
This has resulted in an arrest warrant for David in North Carolina.
This isn’t the only issue David is currently facing. He has also recently reported to fans online that his North Carolina home was robbed.
“When I arrived home on November 27th from Nashville,Tennessee I immediately knew my house had been broken into. I changed the locks before I left,” David revealed in an interview with Champion Daily. He explained, “So whoever broke in had to break in the back door which apparently they had previous experience with.”
Apparently, David was hit hard. He shared, “A lot of stuff was taken, including many of my personal belongings to be missing as well. It’s really low for anyone to steal someone’s tools when that’s what they use to make a living and that’s their livelihood altogether.” He went on:
“Not only was the entire house destroyed, but the kids' rooms look like they were flipped upside down. It took several days to clean it all up when I had already been cleaning for a month trying to catch up on things that had been ignored for a while. The house was spotless when I left and came back to this.”
In addition to the loss of possessions, David had also lost some peace of mind.
“This has all been very stressful,” he said. “And it’s taking some time getting over the fact that people broke in and destroyed my house.” He added, “Now I live in fear everyday that it will happen again and that Maryssa, my daughter, will have to see it.”
Other cast members from the Teen Mom franchise have dealt with similar incidents. It seems to be a difficult consequence of life in the spotlight.
Fortunately for David, his current problem is only temporary: he has assured Celebernation that the warrant is a non-issue.
Now, David is speaking out about his arrest warrant in North Carolina, claiming in his statement that it is “no biggie” and will “all be handled.”
