Lauren Comeau and Javi Marroquin have been back to their old habits of shamelessly gushing over one another on social media. It appears Lauren has forgiven Javi after he cheated on her with another woman in their bathroom, and the engagement might be back on.
The couple has also dropped a few hints that we might be seeing a second baby from them, and honestly, I wish I could say I was surprised.
Javi Marroquin and Lauren Comeau did not have a good year last year.
To recap, Radar Online reported that the cause of the fight was Lauren finding Javi in a room with a naked woman. A source told the outlet that “Javi threw a party Saturday night with friends and gym members at their house” when “at some point, Lauren went upstairs to go to sleep.”
According to the source, “When Lauren came back downstairs, she found Javi and a woman naked.” There was no confirmation on whether or not Javi and this other woman were engaged in anything sexual.
After the incident, Lauren deleted almost all traces of Javi from her Instagram account, and Javi shared a long apology on his own social media addressing what had happened. So we all assumed the couple called off their engagement and was over and done with, until a user on reddit shared a photo of Javi, Lauren, and their son which was allegedly taken at a TJ Maxx in Dover, DE.
Then, a reddit user posted a photo of Javi and Lauren together on vacation in Aruba!
Fans were less than thrilled with the news, and someone slid into the Teen Mom Shade Room’s DMs with some gossip. Kailyn was less than thrilled to see Javi and Lauren on vacation together because Javi had promised to take his son with them and ended up leaving Lincoln behind.
“Of course Kail knew about the cheating because SHE WAS ONE OF EM,” they wrote. “I’m tired of her acting like Javi was so gross to her.”
“She put on this front but used to say she could ‘sit on it whenever she wanted to’ she still was f**king Javi whenever Chris ignored her a**,” the source continued.
“But get on camera acting like she don’t give a f**k and Javi himself have told me this. F**k outta here acting like my n**** really ain’t s**t cuz if ya babymama offer you the p***y what you gone do?”
And they really weren’t finished yet. “NO she likes to play off his emotions because she knows feeling are still there,” they concluded. “It’s sad asf.” We all know now that Kailyn and Javi are history, although she has had a harder time getting over her third baby daddy, Chris Lopez.
Lauren, on the other hand, has let Javi back into her home but is making him work for it.
Teen Mom Shade Room posted a photo of Lauren and Javi with the caption, “What a great life Lauren and Javi have…” and things went down in the comments.
One user commented, “Real question…how do you EVER get over your significant other cheating?!”
TMSR replied, “Right she made him cover up a matching tattoo with Briana as a ‘gift’ to her and had their bathroom remodeled after the hookup incident…clearly she’s not ok lol.”
Another user replied, “Stop she had the bathroom remodel!???? No honey I need a whole new house TF out of here.”
A third hopped on the thread. “I guess it’s pretty easy when u only have a following, a job and money from this a-hole and his short stint on mtv. She probably just thinks of dollar signs instead of him cheating when she walks into that bathroom,” they wrote.
“It be like that,” TMSR replied.
Apparently it do be like that, and the couple has a new bathroom and possibly a new baby on the way!
Lauren shared photo on Instagram of her and Javi kissing. “Hurry home to us safely,” she wrote in the caption. “Can’t wait to smooch you all weekend, my handsome Valentine.”
“I adore you two together, and how happy you are and he makes you!” commented an Instagram user. “Enjoy your Valentine’s Day weekend…Hopefully baby numero 2 will be on the way!”
Javi’s response all but confirmed they are ready.
“I’m saying right!” he replied.
Fans on reddit had a lot to say.
“If they split it'll be over her getting pregnant again or not before she leaves him for cheating. If she truly doesn't want another baby, Javi will not stay,” one user wrote.
“One of the few things Kail has said that I agree with is ‘the couples that seem the happiest on social media have the most problems.’ I’m a firm believer in that,” commented another. “It’s totally fine to post about you and your significant other occasionally or even frequently doing just normal couple things. But these constant mushy gushy posts always seems like they’re trying to convince people (and themselves) that they’re sooo in love.”
Do you think we’ll see another Lauren and Javi baby anytime soon?
'Teen Mom' Star's 'Ignorant' Comments Come Under Fire
In the history of offensive comments from Teen Mom stars, some incidents come across as much worse than others. Most recently, Teen Mom OG star Cheyenne Floyd made waves after MTV confirmed she’d be the newest member of the cast.
After the announcement, some of her past tweets came to light that had fans shocked.
“This little white kid told me I looked like a cat today. I shoulda kicked him,” reads one of Cheyenne’s tweets from 2012 that circulated at the time she was hired. One from 2011 reads, “My mom said I can’t see The Help, she knows I already have a problem with white people.”
These tweets are upsetting to many, but they’re nothing compared to the last one: “Last night I saw it and I wanted to kill every white person I saw.”
She also retweeted a tweet that read “[Cheyenne] and [another Twitter user] are the only nazi-loving, black power-having, ‘kill-a-white-baby-if-I-could’ people I can accept & adore.”
Obviously, these tweets are several years old, and Cheyenne has had a lot of time to change since then… but fans are pretty angry that MTV decided to hire her regardless.
“You cannot say sh*t like this and then become a paid TV personality and expect it to be okay. Sh*t on the internet does not go away. You f*cked up. I hope MTV would not offer a job to anyone that said something like this towards any group of people. The end,” wrote reddit user Floflo80.
User silver_kays wrote, “If people online easily found this you’d think whoever does the research for hiring would see it too. Media loves feeding the racism fire. It’s a ‘hot topic’ in their eyes and it makes me sick.”
This time around, it’s another new member of the Teen Mom cast that’s coming under fire: Young and Pregnant star Ashley Jones.
The tweets started when Ashley retweeted an Instagram post about Dwayne Wade accepting his trans daughter’s decision to change her name and use female pronouns. “Me and my wife Gabrielle Union are proud parents of a child in the LGBTQ+ community,” the update read.
Another Twitter user added the transphobic comment, “Stop ‘supporting’ the problem and get that boy some help.’”
Ashley had some thoughts on this. She spoke out in defense of Dwayne Wade’s daughter, saying, “This is such a touchy topic . I think each person deals with this based on their own upbringing and personal beliefs . If this is how the parents want to support their child then we really cannot and should not say anything.”
But her next Tweet was a bit confusing to some fans. “Can’t offend the LGBTQ, can’t offend the blacks , can’t offend the whites , can’t offend the Mexicans , can’t offended the Asians . Just leave people the f*ck alone . And also , everything isn’t always that d*mn deep and serious,” she wrote.
But some fans think Ashley’s tweet was ignorant.
“The Mexicans ? There’s a whole a** South America and Puerto Rican’s / Cubans / Dominicans that are Hispanics so please educate yourself,” wrote in user @loramendoza9 on Twitter.
Ashley replied, “so you offended because I said Mexicans ? What are you even talking about,” and added numerous laughing emojis.
Twitter user @sidcynthia wrote, “Because the word you were looking for was ‘hispanics.’”
Ashley replied and added, “No, I meant Mexicans!”
She went on, “Since when was it a crime to say Mexicans ? If you are from Puerto Rico then ofc I’m not talking about you . If you are Salvadoran than exclude yourself . But there are PROUD MEXICANS walking this earth . So relax . I wasn’t grouping everyone together I was speaking particularly.”
Obviously, Ashley’s comments may come off as a little ignorant to some, but they don’t seem to be near the category of “racist.” And considering this all comes from her apparently standing up against transphobia, its seems that it comes from a good place.
Then again.... It’s for fans to decide how to respond. What do you think? We’d like to hear from you in the comments!
