David Eason is currently facing an arrest warrant in North Carolina. Eason married MTV star Jenelle Evans in 2017.
This news comes after David and Jenelle revealed that they were filing for divorce. Since then, Jenelle has reportedly moved to Tennessee. However, the two are still legally married according to recent reports.
As for David, he may have his hands full with the ongoing legal battle for some time, as a warrant is issued for his arrest.
Now, David is speaking out about the events and revealing the truth about his arrest warrant. Keep reading for his side of the story.
The latest news comes at what must be a difficult time for David Eason.
Jenelle Evans shocked fans around the world when she publicly announced via Instagram that she and the father of her third child, David Eason, would be divorcing.
“I’ve mostly kept off social media the past few days,” Jenelle wrote in an emotional notes app-style Instagram update on Oct. 31, 2019. “I’ve been focused on making some big life decisions. I’ve lived my life on camera since I was 17 years old. And alot of it hasn’t been pretty. But it’s been my life.”
She added, “I appreciate the support from everybody who has asked who I am. Me and the kids are doing great. We need some time to be together. But you’ll hear from us again soon.”
Though Jenelle’s explanation of their separation was brief, David has shared even less about the split. Instead, his Instagram shows him off with a trimmed beard, a clean look, and ample pictures of the goats and other livestock that he is taking care of, likely from the North Carolina home that he owns with Jenelle.
As for David, he’s set 2020 off on the right foot. He’s been occupied with his growing knife brand, and has even teased a new music career! It seems clear that David is ready to move on from the past and set his eye on the future and new goals.
Unfortunately, divorce paperwork is not the only legal trouble facing David. He is currently wanted in the state of North Carolina for a 2018 incident.
According to reports by TMZ, the arrest warrant originated with a conflict over an illegal truck-towing incident that took place in 2018.
Allegedly, David towed a man’s truck because the truck had blocked David’s car. David filmed the incident and posted it online, which is how authorities became aware of it.
David captioned the video, “Learn the right way to deal with a$$holes who think it’s cool to block you in a parking space.”
The vehicle owner went on to press charges which led to the court ordering him to appear at a hearing. On the assigned day, David’s lawyer appeared, but David did not.
This has resulted in an arrest warrant for David in North Carolina.
This isn’t the only issue David is currently facing. He has also recently reported to fans online that his North Carolina home was robbed.
“When I arrived home on November 27th from Nashville,Tennessee I immediately knew my house had been broken into. I changed the locks before I left,” David revealed in an interview with Champion Daily. He explained, “So whoever broke in had to break in the back door which apparently they had previous experience with.”
Apparently, David was hit hard. He shared, “A lot of stuff was taken, including many of my personal belongings to be missing as well. It’s really low for anyone to steal someone’s tools when that’s what they use to make a living and that’s their livelihood altogether.” He went on:
“Not only was the entire house destroyed, but the kids' rooms look like they were flipped upside down. It took several days to clean it all up when I had already been cleaning for a month trying to catch up on things that had been ignored for a while. The house was spotless when I left and came back to this.”
In addition to the loss of possessions, David had also lost some peace of mind.
“This has all been very stressful,” he said. “And it’s taking some time getting over the fact that people broke in and destroyed my house.” He added, “Now I live in fear everyday that it will happen again and that Maryssa, my daughter, will have to see it.”
Other cast members from the Teen Mom franchise have dealt with similar incidents. It seems to be a difficult consequence of life in the spotlight.
Fortunately for David, his current problem is only temporary: he has assured Celebernation that the warrant is a non-issue.
Now, David is speaking out about his arrest warrant in North Carolina, claiming in his statement that it is “no biggie” and will “all be handled.”
'Teen Mom' Star's Drug Arrest Caught On Camera
The Teen Mom cast members have all had some serious ups and downs, and unfortunately, they’re not above the law. Some of the Moms themselves have even landed up in jail or prison, halting production until they got their charges settled or were released.
Unfortunately, it looks like the Teen Mom stars’ legal issues are not a thing of the past… but fans don’t seem too surprised.
When Jade Cline was added to the Teen Mom 2 cast, some fans wondered if she was going to bring enough interesting drama to the table.
Well, so far she has not disappointed.
Early on in the season, Jade opened up about her mother and step father’s struggle with addiction. On part three of the show’s reunion, she revealed that both of her parents had been arrested.
Her storyline in the new season has focused on her parents being in jail. “In my new season, both of my parents were just incarcerated,” she revealed. “They’re been strung out for so long, they’re like binge addicts, where they’ll binge and then they’ll be okay.”
“It hurts because I’ve grown up and I haven’t had my mom there,” Jade said. “My heart was hurting because my real dad committed suicide when I was 6 months old.”
In regards to her parents addiction, Jade said that she feels “like my real dad never loved me enough to stay and now I feel like, even when I have a second chance at a father, I feel like he never loved me enough to stay clean.”
Jade’s parents were arrested when police officers were called to inspect a possible overdose inside their vehicle. The police officer then found marijuana and other drug paraphernalia, including a metal pipe. The officers also found a crystal substance that was suspected to be meth, as well as suboxone pills.
Jade’s mother had previously been arrested back in 2014 for possession of cocaine and theft. She had confessed to buying crack cocaine before entering a store and attempting to steal two items of clothing.
On this week’s episode, fans witnessed the event as it Jade received a call from her mother asking Jade to bail her out of jail.
“Jade, please come bond me out of jail, please,” Jade’s mother Christy Smith begged on the episode.
“What the f--k. You’re in jail?” Jade demanded.
“Come bond me out for 500 and I’ll pay you back,” her mom begged.
Jade shot back, “What the f--k, Mom, I don’t have $500 right now.”
But her mom insisted, “Jade, please, please come get me out,” claiming, “I’ll pay you every dime back.”
Since this was before her first Teen Mom paycheck, coughing up $500 was not easy for Jade. “I’m going to have to come up with the money somehow because I don’t have it,” she said. “Oh my gosh. I’m going to have to figure out it.”
Jade spoke out with her take on the event when she was first cast in the show. “In my new season, both of my parents were just incarcerated,” she spilled. “They’ve been strung out for so long, they’re like binge addicts, where they’ll binge [on drugs] and then they’ll be okay. And then it’s like a fairytale for like a month and it’s like I have my mom back, my mommy is back.”
“It hurts because I’ve grown up and I haven’t had my mom there,” she explained. “My heart was hurting because my real dad committed suicide when I was 6 months old.”
She went on, “I feel like my real dad never loved me enough to stay and now I feel like, even when I have a second chance at a father, I feel like he never loved me enough to stay clean.”
