It’s true that the show has changed its focus a great deal in recent years, and although it was at one point only about motherhood and struggling with baby daddy drama, now it focuses more on relationships, parenting, and even self love and self respect. The show started out as a docu-series with goals of teaching young viewers the dangers of having unprotected sex, and how difficult raising children can be when you’re not prepared. Ironically, even well into their twenties, many of the cast members are still having unplanned pregnancies!
In fact, whether within or outside of a committed relationship or marriage, Maci, Briana, Kailyn, Jenelle, and Amber have all had unplanned pregnancies within the past few years… Guess they didn’t really learn their lessons!
It’s no surprise that an unexpected pregnancy can still be such a shock for Teen Mom viewers. Even though they’re well past the point of struggling to make ends meet for their children, unplanned pregnancy can still be a major plot twist in their lives, especially when they don’t know the baby daddy very well. For those who were scandalized by Amber Portwood getting pregnant with a man she had only met a few weeks ago, Briana DeJesus’ most recent pregnancy story is even more wild. She met her baby daddy Luis at a club, and after spending that night together, she got pregnant. After considering adoption (although many believe this was a fake storyline), Briana decided to keep her daughter Stella, even if Luis was out of the picture. Because her baby daddy works as a trucker, he’s not in the picture very often. So now Briana is stuck dealing with two baby daddies that she wants to step up to the plate. Could she be about to add yet another child (and another baby daddy) into the mix?

It’s not uncommon for the girls to face pregnancy speculation based on their changing physiques. Even though fans’ pregnancy suspicions sometimes get dangerously close to body shaming, the truth is, sometimes their suspicions are right! In fact, fans spotted Jenelle Evans’ and Chelsea Houska’s most recent pregnancies before the were announced just by noticing changes in the cast members’ physiques.
Briana recently shared a picture of herself in a fitting room on Instagram. In the shot, she’s wearing a tightly-fitted skirt and top, and she included two suspicious eye emojis in the picture. It wasn’t long before fans began to wonder if she could be pregnant again.

But some believe just the opposite: that Briana might be faking a pregnancy just to get people to talk about her!
“Attention seeking is more like it,” wrote user uknowhowchoicesbe. “This pregnant speculation is exactly what she is trying to achieve with this angle/googly eyes emojis. It’s no surprise that fans immediately think to Javi when seeing these pictures. If Briana is pregnant, it wouldn’t be a stretch to think that Javi may be the baby daddy, since they dated very recently. Of course, that would make things a little tricky… considering that he just revealed that his new girlfriend Lauren Comeau is pregnant!
The timeline of Javi’s relationship with his new baby mama, Lauren Comeau, is a little hard to follow. That’s because they’ve been on-and-off practically since they first started dating.
The two began dating long-distance after meeting at a wedding. Javi was in Delaware while his bae lived in Charleston, South Carolina. “We met at one of our best friend’s weddings,” Javi told Radar Online. “She was the maid of honor.”

He revealed that their relationship was “fairly new” but that he “[didn’t] feel that way.” (We all know that Javi is an expert of moving super fast in relationships.) “This one feels right. We decided we’d give it a try officially at the wedding this past weekend.” Lauren was also the fourth girl he dated in the year after he split from Kailyn.
Unfortunately, their relationship didn’t last very long. The stress of having a public relationship was too much for Lauren, and the couple split in September of 2017.
“I love Lauren, but unfortunately it didn’t work out,” Javi informed Radar. “I’m learning not everyone wants the attention. Dating someone on a TV show is tough. I think Lauren had a hard time adjusting to that and I had a hard time understanding that.”

“It was a lot for her and we couldn’t fix it,” he explained. “I learned for my next relationship that I have to put myself in the other person’s shoes.”
But he made it clear that he wasn’t totally over Lauren. “I never believed in love at first sight, but when I saw Lauren I definitely did,” he said. “I’m hoping Lauren and I can figure this out because she made me the happiest I’ve ever been.”
Well, they managed to figure it out. It was only a few months after breaking up with Briana DeJesus that Javi got back together with Lauren. He shared a picture of them embracing and wrote, “Sometimes, two people need to fall apart to realize how much they need to fall back together.” Now, the couple has some massive news to share.

Even though they only got together two months ago, they clearly didn’t waste any time. Javi has just confirmed to Radar that his girlfriend Lauren is pregnant (yes, with his child).
“Blessings on top of blessings,” Javi wrote on a picture of him cradling Lauren’s baby bump on his private Facebook page. Lauren wrote, “Sometimes life’s biggest blessings come in the smallest packages. Baby Marroquin coming soon!”
He took to Instagram to write:
"Been kinda quiet lately for many reasons. I was sad I couldn’t share the good news because I was afraid of what people would say. The amount of love I’ve received is so overwhelming and so appreciated. I realized No negative comment will take this moment away from us. A baby is a blessing and I am ecstatic for the future."

He added, " Lincoln is happy, I’m happy, and Lauren is happy. Gonna go on a little hiatus from social media to take all this in and enjoy it with my family and loved ones. 4-year-old Lincoln was also in the announcement. He held four sonograms and wore a shirt that read “Super Big Bro.”
Fans are divided about this news (well, let’s be real: most fans are pretty shocked), but what’s more alarming is the timeline of everything.

January 2018: Javi and Kailyn don’t get back together, but they get awfully close.
March 2018: Javi begins dating Lauren Comeau.
May 30, 2018: Javi and Lauren announce they are pregnant.
With a timeline this tight, things start to look a bit sketchy. But what’s even sketchier is the fact that Lauren appears to be more than just a few weeks along in their pregnancy announcement picture. In fact, many fans believe that Javi could have gotten Lauren pregnant while he was with Briana.

“Neither Javi nor Lauren announced [the] due date or how far along she is for one reason and one reason only….” wrote reddit user boobopbadaboop. “The baby was conceived at a time that neither of them can explain without looking like complete idiots. That is all.” Many fans agreed, and several weren’t convinced Lauren was less than three months pregnant.
“No one takes photos cradling their bump in the first trimester!” wrote reddit user clevelandcray.
It’s not clear whether Javi was dating Briana when he and Lauren got pregnant, but it appears to be awfully close. “Don't most people wait until 3 months or after to announce a pregnancy just because there is that risk of possibly having a miscarriage during the first trimester? Luckily, all of the fans’ answers will be answered when Lauren gives birth. If Javi was dating Briana nine months prior… it’s not going to be pretty. Fans can’t yet agree on whether Javi cheated, but they can all agree that the timeline is “messy.”

As for Kailyn and Briana, they’ve been remarkably calm about this news. As for Kailyn, her response was short: “I knew,” she told Radar. “I wish them the best.”
Briana was similarly kind. “Aw, I’m happy for them, she told Radar Online. “Best of luck. That’s all he wanted so I’m glad he got it.”
Kailyn went on to tweet vaguely, “Too many things happening at one time. Been feeling a lot of regret lately. Made some sh*tty choices over the last few months.”
She may be referring to one more element of the timeline: the fact that she secretly hooked up with Javi after he dumped Briana!

“Javi and I definitely talked about [getting back together],” Kailyn spilled to Radar Online last week. “There were times where we were maybe getting back together,” she explained. But another inside source has much more to add on the subject.
Teen Mom gossip YouTuber The Grace Report received a special insight from an anonymous member of the reunion audience.
“Dr. Drew asked Javi point blank, ‘Do you think that you’re a love addict or a sex addict? Is that why you can’t seem to stay single?’” Grace pointed out that Javi has hopped from relationship to relationship, dating Lauren Comeau, Briana DeJesus, and Lauren Comeau again! Javi can also be seen showing off a ring he got to propose to Briana in the sneak peek for the season.

According to Grace, that’s what broke up his relationship with Briana DeJesus!
“It freaked out her mom Roxanne so badly that she was like, ‘Dude, pump the brakes on this! A ring for my daughter already? This is not going to fly at my house!’” Grace explained.
But is it possible that Javi is jumping from relationship to relationship because of Kailyn? Luckily, Grace got down to it.
Kailyn has insisted from the very beginning of this season that she isn’t salty about Javi moving on at all, but fans aren’t exactly buying it, and neither is The Grace Report’s source.

“Well, guess what’s going to come out in the upcoming reunion special?” Grace reveals. “Kail hooked up with Javi after he and Briana broke up!” And like many fans who have noticed Kailyn’s jealousy over the relationship, Grace was not surprised to hear this news from the source. Shockingly, it was Kail who made the first move!
“They both admitted on stage that it was Kail who tried to get into Javi’s pants,” Grace revealed. Apparently, whatever her tactic was, it worked.
Kailyn’s take on things is a little different. “We knew in the back of our minds it wasn’t going to work,” she claimed to Radar. She insisted that now all hope of her getting back with Javi is over. “I don’t know why we talked about it. I wouldn’t get back together with him.” She cites his relationship with Briana as a huge reason for the split.

“Javi and I were in such a good place right before Briana and him started dating,” she told Radar. “We worked so hard to get there. It was disappointing when it all fell apart.” She explained that watching the recently-aired episodes has made tensions high again. “Watching back is really hard,” she spilled. And the bombshell of Javi’s proposal didn’t help.
“I did not know about the proposal until after they broke up,” she said. “I would’ve told him he’s f**king crazy. That’s on him.”
Kailyn has learned quite a bit about f*cking crazy recently. The craziness broke out when Kailyn got violent with Briana during the most recent reunion filming!

According to The Ashley’s Reality Roundup, things were violent right off the bat.
“Briana was the last girl called to the stage, and she came out and went right at Kail,” a source informed The Ashley. “Briana’s sister Brittany DeJesus was on set too and she jumped in and got in Kail’s face. They started swinging at each other and Kail was motioning to Bri to ‘Bring it on!’ Everyone else that was on stage scattered to get out of the way,” the first source said. “Even Dr. Drew ran out of there.”

Another source said, “There had been a lot of back-and-forth instigation on both ends before the girls got on the stage. That’s why Bri came out ready to fight.”
Kail spilled her side of events to E! News.
“Brittany ran up behind me and pulled my hair,” Kailyn explained. “That was it.” She added, “I confronted [Briana] alone and she wouldn’t get up. I just wanted to hash it out. But she didn’t want to,” Kailyn explained. “We went into a private room without cameras and I told her to get up. She wouldn't’ get up. That was that.” Later, she tweeted, “I didn’t get beat up. I didn’t get hit. Reeeeeeeeeelax.”
