Ryan Edwards teeth are…well…missing!
Ryan and his wife Mackenzie Edwards have made their return to Teen Mom after a very complicated history.
Maci Bookout’s ex apparently ran their bank accounts dry, according to Radar Online. A source told the outlet that “they went through all their money,” and is “the only reason they continue to film.”
Allegedly, Mackenzie had been working for her father’s insurance company, and the couple has been living with Ryan’s parents rent free. They announced they would be leaving the series last year because they didn’t want to focus their storyline on Ryan’s addiction recovery.
Last October, Mackenzie gave birth to their son Jagger Ryan Edwards. Ryan was not present for the birth of his first child with Mackenzie because he was back in rehab.
Because of Ryan’s repeated offenses with drugs, it was not a shock when Radar Online reported that the 30-year-old had re-entered treatment. According to Radar, Ryan was supposed to stay at the rehab facility until early 2019.
Mackenzie and Ryan are now expecting another child, but first we need to talk about what is happening with Ryan’s face.
A fan on reddit shared a screenshot of Ryan from a recent episode. His two front teeth have a huge chip, and it does not look good.
Fans had a lot of opinions.
“Anyone else here feel like a dental appointment should have been made prior to filming?” one reddit user commented. “Like, seriously. I'd be on the dentist so freaking fast before any film crew even mentioned being in my town.”
“Money! Wonder if he has dental insurance, we know MTV doesn’t provide health benefits,” another user responded about the comment.
Others were speculating about what happened.
“He was adorable. Wtf happened here? Did his veneers get kicked off? His teefs look like the nubs they shave the real teeth down before they place veneers. I’m thinkin he got his a** beat in jail,” a user wrote.
“Meth teeth?” wrote another.
And a final food for though, one user thought he was trying to use his teeth as a bottle opener, “I’m just picturing him trying to open beer bottles with his front teeth and stupid Mac being like ‘oh Ryan.’”
Ryan appears to be sober as of now, but his family didn’t seem confident Ryan would remain sober.
“If he relapses again, she’s going to file for divorce,” a source revealed to Radar Online in late November. The informant emphasized, “She’s serious. She doesn’t want to continue to be with someone who doesn’t help himself.”
"Being incarcerated, his family hopes he learned his lesson and stays clean," a source revealed to Radar. "Would they bet on it? Not on a dime. Drugs are very powerful. When your body needs them, you do things you normally wouldn't do."
Ryan's mother Jen and father Larry apparently are hoping that he seeks treatment again. "Jen would like for Ryan to find a counselor, someone he can talk to," the source said. "Larry has a lot of plans they would like to happen, but they don't happen."
