Tyler Baltierra clapped back at keyboard warriors after they tried to diagnose his daughter. The Teen Mom OG star was angry that strangers were claiming there was something wrong with his child, and he did not hold back!
Tyler and his wife Catelynn Baltierra are no strangers to being shamed for their parenting tactics, but this time it hit too close to home.

Tyler Baltierra and Catelynn Lowell are back to defending their parenting skills! People have accused the couple of causing certain mental health issues with their daughter.
Last October, Catelynn posted a video on snapchat of her daughter riding a horse. Nova Reign is riding without a saddle and her helmet clearly has an improper fit. Fans on reddit were quick to criticize her and her husband Tyler for their poor parenting decision.
User metalhead35 wrote, “The obvious helmet issues are there, plus I personally have been bucked by a few horses in my day, and once as a kid.”
“A saddle makes it much easier to stay on should that happen,” they explained. “I like riding bare back with a horse that I’m very familiar with, but I don’t think I’d personally put my 3 year old on a large horse with no saddle.”
User PygmyFists clarified, “It's not so much about the no saddle thing itself as it is that not only is her helmet not on right, there are no professionals around, Callie is a bit jerky/stuffed legged here, AND this tiny child is without a saddle making the risk of injury significantly higher.”
They added, “Basically, Cate should not be the one supervising any of this.”
This time around though, the accusations are wildly different from equine safety. On a recent episode of Teen Mom OG, Nova had a temper tantrum, and fans are convinced they know the reason behind the outburst.
Fans have accused the couple of causing stress for the child due to their strained relationship. Tyler took to Twitter to defend against these accusations.
Yesterday he tweeted, “Wait…so a kid throws a fit nowadays & we’re calling it ‘abandonment anxiety issues’!? I must have not received that memo, but that you to all of the social media child therapists for this new diagnosis. Hahaha!”
Catelynn then shared her opinion on the matter as well.
“Also I nova was FINE two minutes after I left! That was my first time by myself in MONTHS!!! And it was my birthday! If you are a parent you know that sometimes u need me time!” she tweeted.
Fans were supportive of the couple. “People act like it it doesn’t break a parents heart when they leave the house and their child has a meltdown. But you need to take some time to yourself,” wrote user @meganl72.
Another user named @Tacoferrari said, “The fact that you have to even defend yourself about this is ABSURD.”
Catelynn and Tyler don’t take parenting lightly. They put their first child up for adoption because they felt they wouldn’t be the best parents at their young age. Tyler opened up about the adoption in a birthday post for his first daughter in May.
“10 years ago yesterday, we were only 17. 10 years ago, we brought you into the world. 10 years ago, we only got to hold you by ourselves for a half hour in the hospital as we just cried & stared at you, remembering every little detail of how absolutely perfect you were, since we knew that even though we just met, we had to say goodbye.”
Tyler continued on, saying the adoptive parents were “the only parents that were worthy to be yours.”
“10 years ago, we had to make the hardest decision of our lives & give you everything your innocent life deserved that we just couldn’t provide at the time. 10 years ago, we held each other & wept.”
Fellow Teen Mom star Kailyn Lowry showed her support, commenting, “I have the chills!!! So so proud of y’all & happy birthday to Carly!”
Tyler finished his post with a final message, “Your life changed so many others for the better & has blessed more lives than I can count. We love you so much & hopefully get to see you soon baby girl. Happy Birthday Carly!”
This wasn’t the first time he’s opened up about the adoption process. Last year, both Tyler and Catelynn posted on their daughter’s birthday.
“I have learned a lot throughout this adoption journey & I have made mistakes in the past regarding that relationship. But I feel like I have grown up & matured through all of that & I now realize that I need to count my blessings,” Tyler wrote.
Catelynn shared similar sentiments, writing, “I cannot believe that 9 years ago Tyler and I were waiting to go to the hospital to make one of the hardest decisions of our lives…Carly we love you so much and are so proud of you!”
