Too spooky!
Halloween is finally here, and for anyone with children, that means one thing: trick or treating. These days, the bar for costumes is set seriously high, and when you’re a celebrity mom, you have to do your best to show off the cutest looks. The Teen Mom cast members have stepped up their game this year, but that doesn’t mean we’re going to let them forget some of their... er, humbler costumes from years prior.
Ready for a spooky walk down memory lane?
Blended Family
To say that Kailyn Lowry has some serious beef with her baby daddies is an understatement... but if there’s one time of the year to put the drama aside, it’s the holidays.
Although Baby Daddy #3 Chris Lopez was nowhere to be seen, Kailyn recently got together with Javi, Jo, and Vee to celebrate the spookiest night of the year. The fact that they all managed to spend an entire night together without it turning into a huge fight is impressive enough, but a closer look at the costumes proves some serious foresight by this blended family.
Boo and Sully
Jo tweeted this shot of Isaac and Vivi holding hands before going trick-or-treating. He wrote, “Some early trick or treating in our town! #Kitty #Boo.” Any Disney fans will instantly recognize this iconic pair, and Jo and Vee clearly paid special attention to even the smallest details. From Vivi’s curly pigtails to the drawing of Randall that Boo draws in the film, these two were rocking their matching looks from head to toe.
Halloween on The Land
But Kailyn isn’t the only one with a big, blended family. Since marrying David Eason, Jenelle Evans is now a mother to five! She posted this snap of her huge family on Instagram. Her kids are Kaiser the pirate, Ensley the fawn, Jace the Knight, and an undead Maryssa. Jenelle herself dressed up as a deer, and David? Well, we’re pretty sure he’s a hunter, but some fans have referred to this costume as “swamp monster.”
Farrah the Mermaid
Farrah Abraham has some big plans for tonight, October 30th. Instead of dressing up in a costume, she’ll be dressing down for another cam show with CamSoda. However, she made some time to celebrate Halloween with her daughter Sophia before the big show!
Farrah put her firetruck red hair to use to dress as Ariel from The Little Mermaid. She wore a seashell top and a green mermaid skirt, completing the simple look.
Mini Me
But what’s even cuter is that Sophia was Farrah’s mini me for Halloween! Sophia’s Instagram was updated with a shot of her in a more complete Ariel costume with a bright red wig. The caption read, “I matched my momma!”
We’ve yet to see how the rest of the moms are going to dress up for this Halloween, but now is the time to relive some of their more humble beginnings. For instance, Amber’s pumpkin baby bump!
The Great Pumpkin
Amber was fit to burst during Halloween of 2008 on her 16 and Pregnant episode. It can be tricky to find a Halloween costume that will fit around a huge pregnancy belly, so Amber decided to improvise. She painted her baby bump with a huge pumpkin just a few weeks before Leah was born!
Matching Looks
Farrah wasn't the only one to dress up as a mermaid for Halloween. In 2015, Jenelle also got pretty revealing with nothing but a top and a tiny bottom. She didn’t always have David to pose with, so in this shot she posed with her BFF Tori, who is dressed up as… Well, your guess is as good as ours.
Biggest Cringe
And then, there’s one of the most iconic (and cringe-worthy) Teen Mom Halloween moments of all time. In 2015, Ryan had plans to take Bentley trick-or-treating. But in total Ryan style, he showed up hours too late, and so Maci took Bentley out without him. The result? Ryan awkwardly sitting around with his face painted like a skeleton, which was apparently the reason why he flaked on his son. Was it worth it?
