As we all know, tensions have been high between Maci Bookout and Ryan Edwards, well... pretty much forever.
But after Ryan was booted off the show, things are getting even more tense between them, with Ryan blaming the firing on his baby mama.
Maci isn't one to stay quiet when there's something on her mind - and now she's sharing how she really feels about Ryan.
It looks like Mackenzie and Ryan Edwards' days on Teen Mom OG are done.
News broke yesterday that the controversial parents were fired from Teen Mom.
And of course, there are several sides to this story... but Mackenzie is coming forward with hers.
"Nothing happened, literally, nothing," Mackenzie claimed in an interview with gossip YouTuber Without A Crystal Ball. "We just got a call yesterday from Morgan and Larry at MTV and Maci's agent went above their heads and went to Viacom."
However, to no one's surprise, she insinuated that the firing was Maci's fault.
Mack claimed that Maci's agent "said that they wanted to focus on all of Maci's abilities and her... whatever she does and that we took up the time on the show that she could be using to show all that."
According to his interview with The Sun, Ryan couldn't care less about the update.
“I really haven’t given MTV much thought now that I have my own fabrication shop," he told the outlet.
His father Larry told The Sun that Ryan is “getting a garage built right now.”
He shared, “He fabricates buggies from the ground up. He would love to build buggies for people. Put row bars on them. Not many people do custom work like that. He’s very good at it. He’s got all the tools and machines.”
Looks like Ryan is just too busy to care!
But according to Maci, he's too busy for something else important... his son!
"3 ball teams, 3 ballparks, and 3 kids that love to play ball… People often ask us - How do y'all do it? or What's your secret?" Maci shared in a new Instagram post.
She hinted that the secret was caring!
"Truth is this - As parents, we are actively present, we always encourage their passions, and always try our very best to be positive! 4Ps #bepresent #bepassionate #bepositive #beparents."
Many took this as a direct callout to Ryan, who hasn't been stepping up to the plate for his son much lately.
Ryan Edwards Reveals Maci Bookout Banned Him From Seeing Son Bentley
Despite being a pre-teen, Bentley Edwards has spent many years apart from his father, Ryan Edwards. Unfortunately, this comes as a result of Ryan's extensive substance abuse problems as well as his multiple arrests.
Although things seemed to be getting to a better place in recent seasons of Teen Mom OG, Ryan is now claiming that Maci Bookout has banned him from seeing his son once again.
Ryan Edwards' last arrest was in April 2019, when he was busted violating his probation.
But apparently that hasn't been enough time for him to change his ways in the eyes of his ex, Maci Bookout.
This may be partially a result of Ryan's behavior toward his son. Many fans saw Ryan's snide comments toward Bentley as "bullying," and are relieved that Maci is dialing back their time together. But according to the latest update, this time together is basically nonexistent.
“Their relationship hasn’t been going well. It’s not any better. Something came up that she wanted and needed. Ryan wasn’t going to comply with everything she wants and needs and we’ve been shut down," Ryan's father Larry told The Sun.
“Bentley right now, we can’t even see him, they’re not even allowed to see him," he said, adding, "It is what it is.”
Obviously, this isn't easy for Ryan or his parents, though fans (and obviously Maci) believe it to be justified.
“I miss Bentley. Tuesday is his birthday. Jen has been texting Maci and we haven’t heard anything back. I’m sure he’s going to have something. Jen has been texting, but we haven’t heard anything," Larry told The Sun.
He continued: “Jen’s been a great grandmother. It really hurts her feelings with what’s going on right now. She’s strong.”
As for their response, Larry shared that he believes taking things to court could just make things worse.
“No court," he said. "Ryan doesn’t want to deal with it. He doesn’t want to put himself back in a situation… He’s got a family. He needs to take care of himself. Then he needs to take care of them."
“If that’s going to be a situation where he gets upset and things are said… Ryan is not participating because he’s not going to let her pull his triggers. He’s pretty much, whatever she wants to do is fine," he added.
