What's the emergency?
A recording of a 911 call Jenelle Evans made earlier this week has surfaced. Her voice is steady but distraught, and we can't believe what happened! Her husband, David Eason, was with her at the time.
Keep reading to find out what she said to the dispatcher!
Jenelle Evans and David Eason have had their unfortunate share of legal troubles, but this one tops the list!
This isn’t the first time a member of the Teen Mom community was the victim of a crime. Back in April, we learned that Chelsea Houska‘s home was broken into while they were on vacation. They explained that they called the police after searching the house, but they did not have any leads at the time.
Chelsea’s eldest daughter, Aubree, said she was terrified, and that she was too scared to sleep alone in her room anymore.
But this time around, we know exactly what happened in Jenelle and Davids’s case! The 911 call revealed all the crazy details.
Earlier this week, Jenelle and David were forced to call the police when they received a threatening package in the mail.
According to Radar Online, an unidentified white powder was sent to Evans’s home on May 15. David was listed as the victim for the call. The police report confirmed that the “white powder substance” was sent to their home in the mail.
But, TMZ just released a recording of the 911 call, and Jenelle was the one who alerted authorities!
Jenelle called the emergency line, and asked the dispatcher to send an officer to her house.
“I want an officer to come to my house,” she is heard saying. “I just checked my mailbox and someone sent me a letter that has powder in it.”
“When my husband opened it powder just came out all over my car and we don’t know what kind of powder or substance it is,” Jenelle continued. “We would like for them to come check this out.”
She then went on to describe what was happening to David while she was on the phone!
“My husband just like, stripped completely in the middle of the road,” she said.
The dispatcher then asks her to clarify what happened. “My husband opened the letter inside my car, and then when he did, powder went everywhere and now…its on the ground. He dropped the whole pile of mail, it’s in the mud right now,” Jenelle explained.
“And you were at home, correct?” asks the 911 operator.
“Yes, we just pulled up home from court, and we just checked the mail. The mailbox is still open,” Jenelle replied.
“Ok, we’ll send somebody out,” said the dispatcher.
The incident occurred on the same day Jenelle and David’s children were sent to live with a guardian.
She currently has visitation rights to her children, and is involved in court proceedings in order to be able to regain custody. She released a statement to The Hollywood Gossip saying that she doesn't "want to speak publicly on the matter currently as that will jeopardize the possibilities of getting [her] kids back."
"I love my kids so much and I will do anything necessary to get them back and that is all I want everyone to understand," she said.
Jenelle also took to Instagram to address rumors about her current situation. "Unless you message me via phone/text or my booking email...no stories should be 'confirmed by Jenelle' at all," she wrote. She has disabled comments for the post, but it seemed to have an overwhelmingly positive response, with about 20.5k likes.
