Things seem to be going from bad to worse at Jenelle Evans's house... She is currently in the middle of a custody battle with her mother over her son, Jace, but now Kaiser is acting out as well!
In case you missed it, Jace allegedly set fire to Barbara Evans's home during an argument. This was one of the many "behavioral problems" that Jace has been having, which prompted Jenelle to seek full custody of her son.
But has Jenelle been focusing so much on Jace that Kaiser's behavior has fallen by the wayside?
Jenelle and Barbara Evans are currently involved in a legal battle over Jace’s custody.
“Jace is back with my mom, and I have filed to go to court and make the case private,” Jenelle told Us Weekly. “I did that for Jace’s protection because…he is old enough now to where, if it’s in the news, I don’t need him reading that or getting upset.”
She said that she and her mother are “currently not on talking terms” and only communicate when it has to do with Jace’s pick-ups and drop-offs.
“That’s about it,” she told the outlet.
Jenelle added that she and her mom had previously reconciled, but that they ended up reaching “a breaking point.”
“Because of Jace’s bad behavior, he was supposed to live with me,” Jenelle told Us Weekly. “Then she took that all back and acted like none of that ever happened. It’s really concerning to me.”
Jenelle added that she personally hasn’t had much trouble with Jace’s behavior.
“His behavior is always good here. They have so much land to play with and play on, and [there are] so many kids,” she said.
Jenelle explained that Barbara and Jace tend to butt heads a lot more than she and her son do. She said she is hoping to regain full custody of her son, but knows that she would never cut her mother out of Jace’s life completely.
“I know in the past I’ve said that, but that was when I was young and mad,” Jenelle said. “I see how important it is for Jace to have that relationship with my mom, no matter how much I dislike her.”
But Jenelle's bid for custody might be even harder now since Barbara has reportedly banned her from seeing Jace.
In a new update from The Sun, Jenelle claimed that Barbara “intentionally prevented [Jenelle] from receiving medical and school records of the minor child” and “has not provided accounting to [Jenelle] of the minor child’s financial accounts.”
She also claimed that Barbara “blocked [Jenelle] from talking to the minor child since she demanded the child return to her custody on or about January 18, 2021.”
Jenelle alleged in the papers, “In fact, [Barbara] has currently blocked all contact from [Jenelle.]”
And although this issue doesn’t involve Jenelle’s other kids, it appears the drama has been affecting everyone in her family. In a new video for her YouTube series “Addicted to Growth,” Jenelle revealed that her middle son, Kaiser, has been kicked out of two schools!
In the video, Jenelle explains how hard it was parenting her kids while she was separated from David back in late 2019.
“Kaiser had a really hard time at school in North Carolina. He was in his first school and got kicked out,” she revealed. “In the second school, he basically got kicked out, wouldn't behave. And when we got to Tennessee, he started school again.”
Kaiser’s school bus picked him up right outside of their apartment complex, so it was easier for them to get everyone ready in the morning. But that didn’t mean Kaiser’s behavior was any better…
“Luckily, he got picked up by the bus and brought to school, I just had to bring him to the apartment complex but he was bad in the bus and when he got to school, he was bad in school and things weren't going that great and they would call me every other day to come pick him up,” Jenelle said.
But because her son was acting out so much, she ended up having to reach out to Kaiser’s dad, Nathan Griffith, for help.
“Not to throw Nathan under the bus but I contacted Nathan like four or five times, asking if he could help me control Kaiser and control his anger and Nathan was like 'I'm in Florida, I don't know what to do,’” the former Teen Mom star revealed.
She said Nathan never reached out to her son’s teachers, which made her ability to co-parent with him incredibly difficult.
It would be easy to hope that Kaiser has calmed down, but with the custody battle that is happening in the background, it is unlikely things have gotten any easier.
