In our exclusive interview with Jenelle Evans, the Teen Mom star spoke about her current situation. Back in October, Jenelle split with her husband and moved to Nashville to get some space, and is now splitting her time between Tennessee and her home in North Carolina.
Her focus is currently on her kids and career, and she revealed just what life is like back on The Land.
Jenelle Evans’s first priority is her children, and she doesn’t want anyone to forget. The reality tv star split from her husband David Eason last October and moved to Nashville with her children. But recently, Jenelle has been making moves to return to North Carolina and is currently back in her home.
“Right now, my main priority is to keep the kids safe,” she told us. Jenelle said she is focusing on her future and is weighing her options about the best way to proceed. “My mind keeps going back and forth on what I should do. I do have an apartment in Tennessee and I still do have my house here, so at the moment I’m kind of back and forth…I haven’t made an ultimate decision of what I’m doing.”
As for her relationship with David, Jenelle said he has work to do. “I need to see something happen. So that’s why as of now I still tell people we’re not back together, because he has a lot to prove to me and he has a lot to change about himself, and he knows that.”
For Jenelle and her family, the best part about returning to North Carolina is that the kids are happier there.
“They’re actually really excited to be here and when I mention like, ‘Oh I have some things to do in Tennessee,’ Kaiser’s like, ‘Can I just stay here?’” she said. “Then also Nathan’s mom, she’s also thinking about selling her house in Tennessee and moving back to North Carolina, so I feel like everyone’s like migrating back to where we started.”
She continued to explain that fundamentally, the kids are just happier when they’re home. “The kids are very happy. Ensley is very happy to be here especially because, you know, we have the baby goat as everyone saw and she’s really attached to that and everyone loves to see her.”
Honestly, the baby goat is pretty freaking adorable, too.
“We started out with a mom and dad goat, and then you know they had these babies and the mom just rejected one,” said Jenelle. “I don’t know why, but she likes the other one. It’s weird because if the other baby goat is around her, she headbutts her and stuff so we had to get them separated.”
And as Jenelle and her family get back to their regular routine, she wants people to know that they shouldn’t believe every piece of gossip that comes their way
People have been sharing false screenshots of conversations with her online as well. “It’s happened once or twice to me before, but I have to make sure that like I show you by circling the image and showing that it’s photoshopped,” she said. “If I don’t catch it and if they make it seem legit people will believe it 100%.”
The falsehoods about Jenelle that have been shared are affecting not only her but others as well.
“It’s really sad because, you know, the company that I promoted for, I did it for free. I did it because they were like, ‘Hey if you ever wear our clothes can you tag us?’ I was like, ‘yeah sure.’” Jenelle told us. “So I tagged them, and these people have been…are still right now, they’re harassing her. [They’re] still DMing her and saying, ‘You shouldn’t even have Jenelle shop at your store.' Well, this is a store that’s in my mall locally, so you’re going to tell her to make me stop shopping at the mall? That’s insane!”
Overall, Jenelle is working to move forward and figure out her next step. She said she’s working on her YouTube channel and Instagram and has a few projects planned for the summer.
Although she couldn’t disclose exact information, Jenelle said she will be returning to TV, as well as YouTube, podcasts, and other media outlets.
We can’t wait to see what comes from her next!
