These days, it seems like every single celebrity or even moderately-famous reality star has gotten some form of plastic surgery. Sometimes, the question is simply whether or not they admit to it publicly.
For the Teen Mom stars, this is almost surely the case. While some of the cast members are open about the numerous surgeries they’ve had or even film the procedure itself, others insist that they’ve never had surgery despite fan speculation.
Chelsea Houska falls into the second category. But now, she’s speaking out about the truth behind the Brazillian Butt Lift rumors.
Many of the cast members of Teen Mom are not shy about revealing which surgeries they’ve had. In fact, for Kailyn Lowry and Briana DeJesus, they’ve even allowed their surgeon, Dr. Miami, to film and livestream their extensive surgeries.
Some surgeries in the world of stardom are much more subtle than that, though. From lip fillers to nose jobs, many procedures are a lot more subtle, allowing stars to lie about what work they’ve had done.
When it comes to significant changes to body shape, though, it’s much harder to cover it up.
As for Chelsea Houska, it seems that she’s more committed to living life the natural way. It’s true that we almost never see her without a full face of makeup, but there’s minimal speculation that she’s had any major surgeries she’s kept secret from fans.
But now it looks like that might be changing. Chelsea has been spending a good bit of time in a cosmeticist’s office undergoing different procedures for her appearance before news of her Brazilian Butt Lift took off.
A simple scroll through Chelsea’s Instagram shows that she definitely gives a lot of attention to curating her Instagram. Many of her photos are professional, and the ones that aren’t are family photos or otherwise staged. So when she peels back the curtains and gets vulnerable with her fans, it’s exciting for everyone.
Chelsea started by getting real in her Instagram story!
“Hello everybody!” she said. “A few weeks ago, I made a story saying that I was going to be doing some more, like, face stuff, like lasers and everything. And so I thought I’d pop on today because I’m here at Artisan Skin and Laser.”
She added, “And if you can tell, my face is shiny because I have some numbing stuff on. I’m doing today BBL + a micro laser peel… If I don’t look too scary, I will show you guys what I look like afterwards.”
Afterward, Chelsea uploaded this vulnerable selfie!
“Oh we just a bit red,” she captioned it. “Didn’t hurt too bad. I’m excited for some nice skin.”
Fans were shocked with this look and sounded off on reddit!
“What a smokeshow!!,” joked user ClementineTaylor, using the term Chelsea and Cole always use for one another. User charismaticchild wrote, “She looks 50 times better without all that makeup caked on her face! And this isn't even her at her best considering the peel has her face looking red. I wish she'd be like this more often! It make me sad to think how insecure she must be to feel the need to spend who knows how long caking on all that makeup when she looks so great without it!”
But this update confused a lot of fans! Chelsea took to Twitter to set the record straight.
“Okay, so since I just washed off all my makeup,” Chelsea said on an Instagram update she shared to clear things up. “We’re nerding out, we’re ready to go to bed.”
She clarified that she’d undergone the BBL Broadband Light Treatment and “not Brazilian Butt lift.” She added that her butt is “still flat.”
Meanwhile, Chelsea is the subject of other rumors...
Are Chelsea and Cole Lying About Their Relationship?
Chelsea Houska and Cole DeBoer are easily one of the most popular Teen Mom couples in the franchise. They have a healthy relationship (especially by Teen Mom standards), have adorable children, and Cole has even discussed the possibility of adopting Chelsea’s daughter Aubree.
But could this whole relationship be built upon a lie?
Of all the places to meet, Chelsea Houska met her future husband at a gas station! As the story goes… The two locked eyes, but both were too shy to say anything to one another. Cole DeBoer then found Chelsea on social media, and their relationship sparked from there.
Although Cole didn’t want to appear on the show at first, when he decided to let the fans meet him, everyone knew that it was a perfect match. Chelsea and Cole had the same values, the same ideals, and the same sense of humor.
Their love story is a little odd, even by Teen Mom standards. But now, some fans are theorizing that it’s a strange story because it’s a lie!
The topic was reignited when MTV posted a picture of Chelsea and Cole back in 2015, writing, “Chelsea and Cole’s love story started at a gas station in 2014. Since then, they’ve adopted a pig, grown their family, started a business, and more.”
But there were numerous fans who just aren’t buying this, including reddit user RedShutUp. “More like the love story they want to tell us. I still don’t believe this gas station life story.”
They went on, “Honestly, if I was filling up my car, saw a guy and he found me on social media after never saying a word to each other, I’d be creeped the f*ck out.”
Most fans seem to think the lovebirds actually met online!
“I agree, only because they are both so shy! Who would ask who? I think they met online or something. I met my fiancé on Tinder, so DGAF!” wrote user GltyPleasureTrshTV.
User scratchmyears wrote, “Like everything else, their story is perfectly curated by Chelsea to control the conversation.” User AlissonLeech agreed, “The gas station story is stupid fake.”
But not everyone thinks that this is fake news.
“Everyone that says their story is fake, what population of areas do you all live in. Because small town mid western, I believe it,” wrote mrow19.
And some just don’t care. User slowdancequeen chimed in,
“Who cares how they met? They met, had babies and got married. The end. I don’t get why people are so jealous of her and her endeavors. Adam was a piece of shit and aubree would be another casualty of teen pregnancy/bad dad if Cole wouldn’t have stepped up.”
